Why do people hate the Volturi?

I upendo the Volturi. I wonder why people hate them so much.

anyway, i think the Volturi are hated because they are powerful and scary. if there is one thing humans (and vampires!) are deathly afraid of, it's fear and powerlessness. oh wait i guess thats two things.

They are a figure of authority that fronts. They make the vamps hold a low profile, but are always out for zaidi power, even if they have to plant evidence. They are zaidi like the MOB.

yay, I started to hate them since I read Braking Dawn, Well, they weren't that good in New Moon either.

I think it's fear zaidi than hate. The Volturi are revered kwa alot of vampires. Jasper even speaks of them with respect and reverence while they are being threatened kwa them.

Carlisle mentions that the Volturi do not like that their coven is so large. Because the Volturi wanted to kill Bella, the main character, it makes them somewhat unlikeable. I can almost see why people hate them. It could be because they are so powerful and I thing they want zaidi power than the want to help the vampire race. And they like to threaten people. HEHE!!!!
