After kusoma some of the picks and maswali that have been ilitumwa lately....

do wewe something get the feeling that people are putting way to much emphases on the looks of the actors in the sinema instead of the actual characters from the books? Dont get me wrong I upendo the sinema but sometimes it does get alittle tiring that when a swali is asked about one of the characters all wewe get are majibu like "because they're so hot" au "they so fine because of their bodies".

Yes. I do. The bottom line is: The actors are NOT the characters.

And, I may be in the minority on Fanpop, but alot of the characters are Lost in the movie translations. I'm pretty sure I sound like a broken record, but the movie screenplays fail to onyesha who Jacob really is and who Edward really is. Jacob is not always the nice, always-getting-screwed-over-kid. And Edward is not always the no-fun boyfriend. The characters we upendo from the vitabu have not been translated very well to screen.

And that saddens me. One: Because that's how it all started. It started with a dream, and it started with love. It started with Bella and Edward. No hot guys, no abs, just who they were on the page. And now it's ruined kwa the media and the fangirls and society. And two: the movies/books are moneymakers. Not because of the story, which was how it's popularity originated, but it's because of the constant advertising of eye-candy and the ridiculous merchandise.

Twilight used to be loved. Not loved as in popular, but loved as in respected. The story was respected and the characters were respected. Now it's all about who has the best skin tone, au who has the most abs. It was never about that. Twilight has Lost the soul it once had. And that's a shame. Maybe once all the sinema are done, it will return that way. But it's sad that people make the judgments of who is the best based on who has the better body. Are people all that shallow? What about inner beauty? What about beauty lies in your heart? People don't think that way anymore because society twists and manipulates. Once again, it's a shame.

I was pretty sure I knew what wewe were gonna write...but this answer was alittle deeper than most of yours....very nice.

well thanks :) I upendo your questions. I would like to ask them, but there's just too many fangirls, I can't take it. haha but I like that wewe ask these once in a while, just to remind everyone that it hasn't always been like this :)

I think you're right....it would be nice that when a swali is asked about either of the two, that people answer it according to their personality and character traits and not according to their abs. lol

seriously, half of the maswali I see are "Do wewe think Edward/Jacob is hot?" and they're going kwa looks, not character.
