An saa later I was waiting at the airport. I watched as Carlisle's flight moved closer and closer to the top. I walked the slow human pace towards his departure point. Everywhere I looked I saw something that reminded me of Bella,this person had the same eye color au that one was the same height. I had to find a way to distract myself. This was what was best. For her to grow old and die a happy life. She deserved that, even if I didn't. I couldn't let myself wallow in self-pity, but to think a dog was better for her, at least she would stay human. STOP! I screamed in my head. I pushed those thoughts aside as Carlisle walked through the door.
"I need wewe to help me Carlisle, I found this girl and she smells exactly like...." I had to force the name through my teeth," Bella."
"I know it's hard for you, but wewe can't let this get to you, wewe need to songesha on. They're all worried about you. Esme's upset and wants wewe back home."
"I need to stay away from Forks, tell them that I'm truly sorry, but I can't go back, not now. Not while I'm reminded of her."
He walked with me to the parking lot where we got in a cab and went to the hospital... back to room 138.
"Her right radius is broken in three places, she has shallow cuts and bruises all over and I can't help her, but I feel this need to watch her. To be with her and help her."
"Don't get to close with her, I don't want to see wewe hurt again. Be careful, and we don't want wewe to go to Italy, so forget about that. wewe need to live, Bella, even though she loves another more, would want wewe to be happy. So do what is best for you, make decissions that don't hurt you."
"Thank you, Carlisle, I needed some reassurance. I want wewe to go then, and thank wewe for coming out. Can wewe make sure she is alright, though, before wewe go, I mean. I just feel like this whole mess is my fault. I'm going to do everything I can to help her and anyone else I can to make up for the past."

Carlisle examined her carefully, then told me that she will heal fast and that she is already on the road to recovery.
I wanted to jump for joy even though that made no sense. Just knowing she was okay made me feel happy, a feeling I thought I would never feel again. Especially since I thought it was lost.
Even though, she smelled like her but I could read her thoughts, even though I couldn't read Bella's I could watch her dreams.
I sat down and watched her dream.
