It took a few sekunde for my eyes to become accustomed to the darkness. When I finally became aware of my surroundings I was, for the first time that night, truely afraid. I stepped back a few steps before I hit a wall. Hearing the small squeeks and footsteps of rats running away from the very spot i stood.
