She matures very quickly. By seven she looks seventeen and then she stops growing. She grows to this age in about two months or something. For all those Jacob lovers, he imprints on Renesmee. Bella and Edward do what they can so that Jacob and Renesmee can be together. Bella when giving birth breaks bones and loses a lot of blood. Then Edward changes her into a vampire. This is where the Volturi are involved. A vampire from a different coven sees Renesmee as an imortal child and they are not allowed. Then Bella and Edward prove that Renesmee is a Human-Vampire.
