I guess the fangirls can't see what goes wrong in the twilight movies... to narrow it down... almost everything :( lol

Oooh, haha, well I've always liked NM (I just realise that liking something and it being a good movie are different things) and I never really liked Twilight but it's growing on me.

i liked new moon. as a movie, it was pretty complete in itself, however, compared to the book, alot of it was out of canon.

i don't mind a few scenes taken out. That's not the problem.

The problem is that the character's aren't consistant. The movie characters aren't the same as the book characters. Without the heart of the characters from the books, how can we expect the film to have heart and soul as the books? What I'm trying to get as is... they try and promote things that aren't really there.

This is going to make me sound repatative, but the love triangle in the New Moon movie? There is in NO WAY a love triangle. Not until Eclipse, if one does call it a love triangle. The whole aspect of New Moon was kind of ruined by the screenplay and direction. Was the movie enjoyable, yes. But, the media portrays the books in a different light, therefore tainting it.

How is it that Twilight fans are called 12 year olds, teenagers, and horny middle-aged women? It's what the population perceives from the media. The media promotes shirtless men to the public as a way to lure non-twilight fans, thus adding more fans to the already blown-up franchise. People who don't get the phenomenon judge the majority as a whole. The media shows twilight fans as younger adults, however, that's not always true.

So, the point I'm trying to get at is the heart and soul of the books are lost in film production. The movies are usually praised for being a piece of art, however, they aren't succeeding. So, sad to say, the reality is the movies will not meet the expectations of the books, so they should not be praised like they do.
