This is my first one so please read and comment. I got my ideas from the Twilight Saga. Hope wewe like it and if wewe do I will do more!! Sorry it's quiet short but I want to make pwani people like it first.
I was cold and wet as I scurried away from the kubeba that was meters from me. But this kubeba was oblivious to the fact that I might be his supper. I was crawling on my hands and knees, trying to get away from this creature. But in my blind panic, I slipped and snapped a branch that I was leaning on for support.
A sudden wave of reality hit me. I was going to die. This scared me and I stupidly let out a defeated whimper. This kubeba looked up, registering the fact that I was a vulnerable target, and started to mduara, duara me. Looking at me from every possible angle.
I closed my eyes and prayed. Please, Please. I could feel this bears warmth on me now. Warming me up. But this kubeba wasn’t particularly hungry, it wanted to play with its food.
It hit me around the face with such force I went flying. It ran up to me, growling. But suddenly a flash of white and a sparkle distracted it.
I heard the howls of pain from the kubeba and became instantly confused kwa what I had just seen.
The last thing I remember was peering into warm dhahabu eyes that were surrounded kwa an angels face. But this face soon turned hard, and flashed a full set of pearly white teeth at me. The teeth bit me, and that is when the moto started.
…
The pain is the worst thing wewe can ever encounter in the world. It feels like wewe are burning, and every sekunde of every dakika wewe want to die. The flames were lapping up my heart, burning it. I didn’t scream, I couldn’t. It hurt so much that I thought if I kept quiet it would leave me, but no.
My moyo and the moto were destroying each other. But not one of them would win. I felt empty apart from the moto running through me like blood.
After what seemed like years, maybe months, au maybe days, the moto suddenly left my hands and feet. As quickly as it came it left. At this point I started hearing the most musical voices I had heard in my life. They came in and out of the room as graceful as any creature on the planet. They glided in and out constantly. They even breathed with grace. Each breath significant in its own way.
I don’t know how many people there actually were, but I did know that someone didn’t leave my side throughout all the pain I was going through.
As I was wondering about these people, I started to notice the moto going out, but with this my moyo got slower. It hurt, even zaidi now, a painful spurt of energy burst through me and I let out a piercing scream. Then it stopped. My moyo faltered and just stopped. I looked up and there was the most beautiful face I have ever seen.
