I mean, it's up to you, but I would strongly advise against it. She would probably be made fun of: either because people thought her name was weird or because they would know it was from Twilight.

Also, you're 13 years old. By the time you have a daughter, the thought of naming a child after these books will have left your mind.

No offense but its an awful name, even reading Breaking Dawn, I was like I understand the sentiment, a combination of the two mothers names, showing them appreciation and stuff but it didnt work well tbh. But if you really like the name Its up to you, but if your only going to call your daughter that because you like the character or something I strongly advise against it. Consider your child and how she will be teased for having a name like Renesmee and that shes named after a half human half vampire child that practically eats her way out of her mothers cerix/stomach, not very nice.

I think people would make fun of her because that name is from Twilight. That is a combo of Bella's mother and mother-in-law's name so on someone else's child it would seem kind of odd. No offense.

Don't give your kid a name that she's going to be made fun of. And trust me, she'll be made fun of for that. And what if she's not exactly a Twilight fan? She might end up being very unhappy with you later in life, and she'll probably just change her name. If you want a unique name, go on one of those baby name sites and find a name that isn't used often, but isn't so weird that people are going to stare at her funny when she introduces herself.

well i dont understand why all of you think she will be made fun of! I want her to have a name i love and from my favorite book saga. If she wants to change her name thats fine but i will always call her Renesmee.

Its an absolutely beautiful name!!!!! If I could have more kids or if I adopt I would name my daughter Renesmee or Esme :) But in the end you name your child what you want.
