Hi :- ) how come there are 13 vitabu but only 26 episodes?

Hello there :) wewe see, it kinda bugs me that there are 13 book, and only 26 episodes. If we take an example as shugo chara, there are 12 vitabu and 102 (101?) episodes. Isn't this a little wierd?
