Chapter 2
The inayofuata morning was a Saturday so I slept in late.
And when I finally did get up it was already 11 o’clock.
“Mornin’ sleepyhead,” My mom smiled.
“Hi,” I yawned.
”Why don’t wewe go outside, it’s a beautiful day,” she suggested.
“Where’s Colin?” I asked.
“Over his friend’s house, now go outside!” She exclaimed.
“Ok fine,” I muttered and headed upstairs to change.
Since it was the middle of October I decided to wear a pair of skinny jeans and a purple and white tank juu and sandals.
Don’t even ask about my hair.
Soon after that I was walking out my back door.
It was actually a pretty nice siku if wewe ask me.
I took out my hair and let it fly free in the wind.
Then I thought I heard someone yelling.
But it wasn’t coming from the house it was coming from the woods.
I decided to check it out, so I took a baseball bat, just in case.
“Hello?” I called out.
No answer but I could hear people talking in the distance.
As I got deeper and deeper into the woods, the talking got louder and I could tell it was two people.
“We can’t let this go on!”Someone yelled.
“I know, but we need a better plan,” Another person said.
Then, just as I got in seeing distance, one of them sniffed the air.
“Someone is watching us, “He growled.
I gulped.
“Your right,” The other one smirked.
He sniffed the air even harder this time and his face softened just a little.
“It’s a girl, about 5 foot 5 and has dark blonde hair,” He guessed.
Whoa. He could tell all that from my freaking smell?!
“We know you’re here girly, come on out,” One said.
I decided to make a run for it…until I stepped on a stick.
Suddenly there were two good looking guys in front of me.
One had black hair and was tall and the other had curly brown hair and was shorter than the 1st guy but taller than me.
“Well what do we have here,” the taller one smiled.
“It looks like my nose was right,” The other one beamed.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt...I thought I heard something,” I muttured.
“Sorry dear we don’t accept excuses,” The tall one said.
I practically swallowed all my courage.
“Oh, well then I better get going…”I whispered and started to run.
What a mistake that was.
They both instantly caught up with me and the shorter one picked me up and carried me back.
I would have been worried about how much my weight was affecting him, but he didn’t seem to have a problem.
“PUT ME DOWN!” I screamed and kicked.
“Can’t do that honey, we need to talk,” The one that was carrying me said.
When they finally found a good looking log they stopped.
But the one that was carrying me didn’t let me go; instead he sat me down on his lap and put his arms around my waist, probably so I didn’t run away. Again.
“Now, first we have to introduce ourselves,” The taller one said.
“I’m Logan, and that’s Scott, “Logan (A.K.A the taller one) said.
“Now you’re gonna tell us who wewe are,” Logan added.
“I’m Daisy,” I muttured.
“Well Daisy, what where wewe doing in the woods?” Logan asked.
“I told you, I thought I heard someone yell,” I explained.
“Yes, but no one yelled,” Logan argued.
I stood there baffled. If no one yelled, then what did I hear.
“Why are wewe keeping me here?” I asked in a whisper.
“Because we need your help.” Scott blurted.
This made me mad.
“My help?!” I exclaimed.
“Yes Daisy, your help, you’re the one we need,” Logan came closer to me and Scotts grip around me tightened.
“But…”I started confused.
“You know how there’s a serial killer around here?,” Logan said.
I nodded, not liking where he was going.
“Well, it’s a Wanyonya damu doing, a young one too,” He added.
“And we need your help to stop him, and find out what he wants,” Scott finished.
“ok for 1, Wanyonya damu aren’t real, 2 I don’t even know wewe guys, and three wewe need like some macho-smart-hero guy to help you,” I said, getting my courage back.
“You don’t believe in vampires?” Logan and Scott smirked at each other.
“Noo-o” I stuttured.
“Well that’s about to change,” Logan winked.
Then Scott put me on the ground and went to stand inayofuata to Logan.
But before I could even twitch they both pounced at me.
And kwa the time I screamed, Logan was at one side of my neck and Scott at the other.
I could just make out their fangs in the fog. Both their hands where either gripped around my neck au on my leg, strapping me down.
“Do wewe believe us now?” Logan breathed in my ear.
“Uh huh.” I managed.
“Good, now where were we.”
