Winner of the "Snow Miku 2016" Contest Announced

Kotatsu Odoki\'s designs selected by popular vote on Niconico

The new design for the 2016 "Snow Miku" character for the Sapporo Snow Festival has been selected. Kotatsu Odoki\'s designs for Snow Miku and her rabbit companion, Yukine, were selected by popular vote on the Hatsune Miku Time 8 live-stream event on Niconico.

Snow Miku gets a warm, winter re-design as "Owly Owl Snow Miku". This design won with a plurality of 35.5% of the votes from among the four finalists.

Meanwhile, Yukine gets a new extreme skiing design with "Flying Yukine". This design won with a majority of 54.5% of the votes from among the four finalists.

Both Owly Owl Snow Miku and Flying Yukine will receive Figma and Nendoroid toys, as well as being featured on promotional artwork for the 2016 Sapporo Snow Festival.
