In "The Dance," the Stanton house is turned into a makeshift hospital as a concerned Abigail (Lori Loughlin) takes in very pregnant widow Carla Noonan (Jill Morrison) to keep an eye on her health while Coal Valley's doctor is away.
In "Cease and Desist," Abigail and the other widows are shocked and saddened when they receive notices from The Pacific Northwest Mining Company asking them to evict their company-owned homes to make room for new miner recruits.
