You know, be an actor because wewe upendo to act. Don't be an actor because wewe think you're going to get famous, because that's luck. But if it's what wewe want to do with your whole moyo and your whole soul, come on.

"I upendo this show," Goldberg, 51, alisema upon joining the panel on Wednesday's show. "I upendo coming on it. I upendo hanging out with wewe guys."

A debate that broke out on “The View” last week was so heated, that it caused a whole lot of commotion and backlash following its airing. The ladies of “The View” had been discussing the “N” word, which led to a debate over whether the word could be used in any context.

Whoopi Goldberg tried to explain to Elizabeth Hasselbeck, why it was okay for black people to use the word, but not white people. Hasselbeck, making the point that we should be moving towards a world in which we are all the same, made the point that she didn’t think it was okay for anybody to use the word.

hujambo guys,
Its been awhile since I updated the Whoopi page...tries to cover eyes...TWO YEARS.. but ill try to do my best as of today..

Anyway the latest latest that had people talking was that Whoopi finally was on The Oprah Winfrey onyesha to celebrate The Color Purple's Anniversary!
It was a great onyesha indeed but alot of attention was aliyopewa to Whoopi herself as Oprah set about to answer a few maswali kwa Oprah..

The one that had me cracking up was that all these years, Oprah thought that Whoopi had a problem with her and Whoopi thought the same! Now I must say I myself thought this was the case...

Every time I look
Into your lovely eyes
I see a upendo that money
Just can't buy

One look from wewe
I drift away
I pray that wewe
Are here to stay

REFRAIN :
Anything wewe want

Anything wewe need

Anything at all
wewe got it
Baby

Every time I hold wewe
I begin to understand
Everything about wewe
Tells me [I'm your best friend]

I live my life
To be with wewe
No one can do
The things wewe do

I'm glad to give
My upendo to wewe
I know wewe feel
The way I do

Nothing wewe could say
could tear me away from my God(my God)
Nothing wewe could do,
'cause I'm stuck like glue to my God
(my God,my God)

I'm sticking to my God like a stamp to a letter,
like birds of a feather,we stick together
I'm tellin' wewe from the start:
I can't be torn apart from my God

Nothing wewe could do
could make me untrue to my God(my God)
Nothing wewe could buy
could make me tell a lie to my God
(my God,my God)

I gave my God my word of honor
to be faithful and I'm gonna.
You best be believing I won't be deceiving my God

As a matter of opinion I think he's tops
My opinion is he's...

I haven't changed from being me.

.................................................

A little older, a little quieter.

.................................................

But I haven't shut up.

.................................................

Ive learned there's alot of stuff I don't want to be bothered with .

.................................................

I don't want to come to work and fight.

.................................................

And I've gotten a little harder , just in my view of reality.

.................................................

There are some things wewe just can't get around.

.................................................

That in the eyes of the majority hiring, Im still first and foremost black.
"I knew as soon as I hit that light, I was waving>> It's as much a part of my whole being as breathing. I always knew this was it. I didn't know it was going to be like this, wewe know. But I always knew that I wanted to act.
I grew up in a time when it would never have occurred to anyone to tell me there was anything I couldnt do. wewe know, I grew up in a time when the country was very pro the people who lived in it. That's why as many changes were able to happen, the March on Washington came into reality. People really believed that they had a stake in the country. So there were all kinds of Invitations to make the country better. So there was never for me, anyone saying, "No, you're going to fail," au "No, there's no place for you." The only thing my mom ever alisema to me was,"It may be tough, but what isn't?"
"I hate people expecting me to be zaidi than I am. Expecting me to live up to their expectations, when perhaps I can't. People forgetting that I get cranky, and I get crabby, and I dont always want to be Whoopi Goldberg. Somedays I'm just not in the mood.
..................................................................................................

The lack of privacy is tough. I went to the bathroom once and people followed me in, and a lady put her hand up under the stall with a pen and a piece of paper, alisema she wanted my autograph, I said, could I just finish what Im doing first? So sometimes...

Well, if anyone ever asked me that question, I would answer kwa saying that it is because she truly inspires me to be who I am. When anyone hear of her, they normally turn their faces away in disgust, but have wewe ever read her life story, au even truly considered who she really is inside out? No. All people do is critise her and say that she's ugly. I think she is beautiful outside and inside because she has done so much to be read that way. Not only speaking as a huge fan, but to me, she's done so much to be recognised in America and all over the world.
Well, why I say that she inspires me is because she has shown us how far uigizaji can go and how standing up for your rights is important. She is so kool and she speaks her mind, which is sometimes harsh, but when we consider it, someone should have alisema it sometime.
So if wewe have a problem wid her, zip it up cuz its not going to hurt her in anyway because I wanna see wewe achieve what she did and do what she did in life.
