Welcome to Eastwood was a very successful series of mine (As successful as it gets with my writing). So, naturally, there was a lot of work and upendo that went on behind it. So, I want to share some facts about Welcome to Eastwood. Any information about the series and what goes on in the making is able to be put on here
#1: Welcome to Eastwood was inspired from the creator, Nik Craig's, own experiences in middle school and high school, where everyone did things that he thought were, and I quote, “Very fucking stupid”.
#2: The series was originally going to have the main character have a god complex and beat up and murder people he thought were stupid, but it got to the point of being too violent
#3: Craig’s first episode of the series, “The Test”, was to onyesha how his thoughts originally were on the show. At first, he would enjoy it, but soon grew out of it to create a satirical series.
#4: Craig grew out of his series being a vulgar and violent onyesha into satire after he decided to make it zaidi like his life, since he never had killed au even punched a person in reality.
#5: Craig based the main character, Wind, off of himself at one point, but he soon branched off and became a completely different character that he never would have expected to enjoy.
#6: Most of the characters in Welcome to Eastwood were based on real life people. Cody was based off of Craig’s younger brother of the same name, and based Cody’s personality off of how Craig would make fun of his brother for being stupid and immature.
#7: Craig named the character, Hannah, Wind’s zaidi responsible sister, kwa thinking of names for attractive high school girls. It lead to him questioning a lot about himself afterwards, but he believed it was worth it.
#8: Craig never named the Teacher character because he wanted to onyesha that there are many teachers that face irresponsible students and underpayment.
#9: The character, Miku, was originally meant to be a parody on huge anime mashabiki on America, but soon became Craig’s character he used to describe being one’s self, and ended up being one of his inayopendelewa characters.
#10: There was once a character named Prince that Craig had introduced in the episode “The Dominant”. He was originally going to be a rival character to Wind, but kwa the inayofuata episode was killed off because Craig felt that Welcome to Eastwood was the kind of series that was meant to be less action and zaidi comedy.
#11: Craig had accidently named Prince off of the famous singer of the same name, and didn’t notice until afterward, but decided to keep it because it was too much fun.
#12: Another character that appeared once and a few times before being scrapped was the substitute teacher, Mr. Smith. However, he was taken out because his name was similar to the character Montgomery Smith, from Craig’s other series, and Craig wanted to give all his characters different names.
#13: The episode titled “The Ballgame” was one of the most violent episodes in the entire series of Welcome to Eastwood, and was the most nonsensical.
#14: “The Ballgame” episode also introduced the two characters, John Johnson and Dave Davidson. Originally, Craig was gonna have them be one off characters, but had too much fun with them, and decided to bring them back in future episodes, even in the newer episodes like “The Dodgeball”.
#15: The character, James, was aliyopewa his names because Wind knew a guy in high school named James who would always look at girls in ways that he alisema were “questionable”.
#16: Another one off character was Cody’s sister, Nicole. She was going to be a upendo interest for Wind, but Craig thought the idea was stupid and scrapped her after the one episode. She can be seen in some other episodes, however, like “The Sleepover”.
#17: In the episode, “The Field Trip” Craig had already started to songesha away from his violent humor and into zaidi satire, but he didn’t completely stop the violet sense of humor just yet
#18: In the episode, “The Hunger”, Wind took a brain that was alisema to be a goat’s brain, but actually turned out to be the brain of a human that was part of a murder investigation, and ate the brain. It was an episode that was far too dark, even for Craig
#19: “The Alien” episode was the very first full satire episode of the series, and after Craig felt proud of it, he decided to continue working on satire.
#20: The character, Mr. Wallman, was a character Craig kept using to onyesha his hatred for greedy big businesses
#21: The store called Mall-Mart is an obvious reference to Walmart, one of Craig’s most hated businesses
#22: After “The Mall” episode, the series title was changed from “Wind’s Angry Adventure” to “Welcome to Eastwood”, since Craig alisema it sounded less generic
#23: The town of Eastwood is named after actor Clint Eastwood
#24: Though not alisema much, it is believed that Eastwood takes place in Michigan.
#25: Craig wanted Eastwood to be in Michigan due to the high crime rates, which would explain the drugs, crimes, and why so much crazy things are allowed to happen without the law's involvement.
#26: The cafe, Mars Bucks, in the episode “The Coffee” is named after the famous coffee duka chain, Starbucks
#27: Craig made the episode, “The Coffee”, after his friend brought him to a Starbucks once and Craig stated that it was “A giant hipster hovel”.
#28: Criag based the episode, “The Canadian” off a conversation he had with one of his Canadian friends.
#29: Craig has an extreme hatred for the news media, as can be seen with several episodes involving R.A.T. News.
#30: “The Creatures” episode was an entire satire on the Pokemon GO craze
#31: In the episode, “The Magnum”, the restaurant Meat Spin is based on an internet video that involves a video of a man doing some questionable acts to the song “You Spin Me Round” kwa the group Dead au Alive.
#32: Craig had plans to create a clothing store in Welcome to Eastwood called Columbian Necktie, but was used for Craig’s other series, Clock Works.
#33: On the subject of Clock Works, Craig had plans to have both Clock Works and Welcome to Eastwood take place in the same universe, but wasn’t used for unknown reasons. However, Craig hasn’t completely abandoned the idea, and has thought about having some hints to them being in the same world in the future.
#34: The episode, “The Cookies” is a giant parody of the movie, Scarface, one of Craig’s favorites.
#35: Coach Straits in the episode, “The Dodgeball”, is a reference to the band, Dire Straits
#36: In the episode, “The Epidemic”, the burger known as the Sheer moyo Attack was a reference to the Queen album of the same name.
#37: Many restaurants were made parodies in the episode “The Epidemic”. McCharles was a parody of McDonald's, Burger Empire was a parody of Burger King, Widow’s was a parody of Wendy’s, and steak, mnofu n’ Quake was a parody of steak, mnofu n’ Shake.
#38: Road warriors from the Mad Max franchise were referenced in the episode “The Epidemic”
#39: In the episode, “The Equal”, Craig used very strong language, including the C and N word. Craig put these words in the episode because he wanted to onyesha that people could and would use these words in reality, quoting, “Would a racist say, “I hate those damn dirty African Americans”, au a homophobe say, “Those bastard homosexuals killed Jesus”? I don’t think so”.
#40: In the episode, “The Privacy”, the celebrity kwa the name of Malcolm Jacobs was based off of Michael Jackson, due to the media surrounding Michael Jackson for suspecting him of committing sexual abuse on a minor.
#41: In the episode, “The Opinion”, the movie Craig had referenced as the “MC Movie” was Suicide Squad.
#42: Craig based the episode of “The Opinion” off of a time when he alisema he thought the Dark Knight Rises movie was okay and a person called him a prick in public because of it.
#43: Craig wanted to start having zaidi character development and started inaonyesha zaidi of it in the episode “The Restaurant”.
#44: “The Restaurant” is the longest episode in the series and is Craig’s personal inayopendelewa episode
#45: In the episode, “The Baptist”, the East boar, au ngombe Baptist Church was meant to take a shot at the Westboro Baptist Church for it’s hatred towards homosexuals and military soldiers.
#46: In the episode, “The Activist”, the company Nistle was named after Nestle.
#47: After Craig had turned the series into a bit zaidi serious kwa the end, he said, and I quote, “I don’t know, they felt a bit TOO serious for a series about a high schooler that’s basically a young white Luther King to stupidity”.
