This was the first time when Zean was going to talk bout his past. He continued āI want to talkā¦ if wewe have timeā¦ā āoh yeah I do haveā alisema Ben. āBen...ā Zean alisema looking at his shiny shoes, but Ben looked at his face. ā I Lost my parents at very young age. I donāt remember much but yeah I know my dad was guitarist and mom used to play piano. I had a sister her name was Casey. I used to call her āloveā and sometimesā¦ chatterbox. The lips showed heavenly smile were now looking confused. But still he continued āmy family was perfect. Our business wasā¦I think was pretty good. My dad was tough I think and mom was sweet.ā.ā Then he suddenly looked at Ben and alisema ā do wewe know my real name is James Zenat Rayā I am James, mom Zenat and ray was name of my dad. From my motherās name I got the name Zean. āI know one thing. My parents died because of my uncles, in greed of property.ā āThat siku before closing their eyes my parents told me to take care of upendo and also I remember the big laughter of my uncle. That siku I found ā Zealā while me and upendo were escaping from them. Aah that was the musical room. My sis ran to the kinanda and she began to play it without knowing any reality. They finally found us. I ran to upendo to save her from their gun but ā¦ I was too slow.. she fell on ground and Iā¦ I ran closer to her. She alisema āBrother this isnāt ketchup,, it is blood.. am I going to die? Will I wake up tomorrow? āand before I could answer her maswali she left me all alone. They didnāt take Zeal away and neither Love. I remember uncle Davy alisema ā my son run away au youāll live to die au wewe will die to live. Choice is yours and run kid Uncle Sam willā¦.ā And I took up Zeal kissed my sisterās body and ran without asking why they killed that innocent girl who had no idea about what was going on. I looked at the mansion last time it wasā¦ammm āLoving Zeanā I think and probably now it is ā Samuel Empireā Tears appeared in his eyes but didnāt fall. Ben alisema āWHAT ARE wewe HEIR OF FAMOUS ray FAMILY??? I used to dream..ā Zean looked at him with very nice smile and alisema ā dreams..are the thing that never leave us neither we should leave them. My dreams enticed me forward. They gave me a life after death of my soul.. but sometimes dreamsā¦dear Ben deny this dream. It is not empire it is cage. Now I know why uncle Dany gave up upendo coz she wouldnāt be able to live without mom and dad and Uncle Sam would never let it be. I wandered for 6 years, but I never sold Zeal. I sung in a coffee duka for Love. From there I got some extra money. I never understood the meaning of money, I knew was cloth and food. But after that I met wewe guys and the Golden Phase of my life started. That was what made my BAD MEMORIES. Ben looked at Zean and Zean looked at Ben. With tears in eyes and smile on face Zean alisema ā Iāll tend to pick up dhahabu instead of Coal. Then only they heard some footsteps. They saw Ilm, Mira and others coming. Zean wiped out his silver tears which rolled on his cheeks like pearl. Ilm with innocence alisema āhey we brought some stuffs lets create some Golden memories..ā He wasnāt ended when Zean began to flow river of tears. Ah he stopped the flow and shouted āYEAH!!!! GOOD MEMORIESā
Hey, so this is a poem Ive been thinking of for a long time, please read and comment!
The Spirit
The spirit rushes on,
Swifter than the wind,
To find answers,
To seek the way.
The spirit flows on,
Like the river.
Flowing on to find the ocean,
A nyumbani for all its dreams.
The spirit shines on,
Brighter than a thousand suns.
Shining on to clear the darkness,
To find the path.
The spirit lives on,
zaidi eternal than the sea,
Living on to find its home,
Where all the ends shall meet.
