What do wewe think the worst retcons of the X-men's long history are?

Obviously, there's many to chose from, but amongst all of the crappy uandishi on juu of crappy writing, there is occasionally (often) a retcon, which ends up just pissing off a bunch of people and doing nothing to help the comics au the characters in them. This happens zaidi with X-men than it probably should, sometimes because the writer's got ahead of themselves, sometimes because they realized how dumb their plots were, and sometimes because they just plain punda screwed up.

With all of them to chose from, which one(s) do wewe think is the worst?

Another "great" one is when they made Wolverine not a mutant (again), but instead some kind of humanoid that descended from wolves. But not just Wolverine, no Feral, Wolfsbane, and every other similarly powered mutant were all in fact the descendants of mbwa mwitu fuckers. Pretty sure they already retconed that retcon thank God.

The whole third Summers brother dilemma deserves a mention too. Now this one I don't consider quite bad because who really wants to be related to Adam-X. No in this case I much zaidi prefer the "no it's actually this crazy guy named Vulcan."
