The entire room went quiet for several moments, as if a single sound would blow the room to oblivion. Finally, Nic spoke up, with a look of complete disbelief on his face. "I'm afraid you're wrong. It can't be Marquez. It can't be...." Richi looked at him, his eyes dull. In a quiet voice, he said, "I saw the article. But isn't is possible-" Nic interrupted Richi, his voice almost barely audible. "No.... You're wrong... She's dead. Marquez is dead." Richi's face showed....pity? sympathy?, but he persisted. "But are you-" He was interrupted once zaidi kwa Nic, who shouted back "I TOLD YOU. MARQUEZ IS DEAD." With that, he stormed out of the room, slamming the door as he went. Aryess too, got up from her seat, quietly said, "Excuse me." And followed Nic out the door. Richi saw a tear fall from her face as the door closed, but alisema nothing.
Richi sighed and rested his head on his hand. "I had hoped this wouldn't have happened." Scotch leaned down and put her arm around him. "You know it was inevitable." Richi sighed again and returned the one-arm hug. Alek coughed slightly and Scotch quickly tore away, leaving Richi slightly confused. Alek then spoke, an expression of something like determination plastered on his face. "We'll see what we can do to help you. But I'm not sure the others will be too eager to follow my lead." Vika piped up after him, seemingly excited for this. "Well I for one am glad to help." However, her father didn't seem as willing. "I don't know, Vika. I don't want wewe getting into any sort of trouble." "We'll be fine, papa," reassured Vika. She then looked back at Richi with a small smile. "Do wewe need a place to stay for the night?" He looked back at her with a a small smile of his own. "I have other business to attend to, but I appreciate the offer." Vika seemed almost a little disappointed at this, but accepted it and nodded. Richi stood up, and gestured towards Scotch. "If wewe would, Scotch." She nodded and closed her eye. Mist began to surround the trio, and in an instant they disappeared. As soon as they disappear, Vika gets up as well and goes out to check on Aryess, saying goodnight to the other two boys in the room before leaving. Alek follows her out the door to check on Nic, leaving Sasha to think about what the hell just happened.
------------------------------------
Outside, a mist swirls around, and the trio appears on juu of the roof. As the mist fades, Richi lets out a small grunt of pain and clutches his left arm, though the other two fail to notice this. "Not now.... Not yet!" he mutters, his arm throbbing with pain. The pain slowly subsides without Zephyer and Scotch noticing, and when it finally subsides, he joins the other two as they jump from rooftop to rooftop.
