I ran to the hanger where the ship was held along with my pegasi. I grabbed the reins of Astéri, and got on. As we flew from the hanger, I got the feeling I was being watched. I shrugged it off. I reached into my bag to grab some carrots for Astéri when I realized they were gone.
“Looking for these?” a voice alisema from behind me
I whipped around to see Robin standing on the cliff face outside the hanger door, holding my carrots.
“Robin…uh what are wewe doing up so late?” I asked sheepishly
“I could ask wewe the same thing” he replied
“I’m going to help the lady who was crying” I stated
“Not without me you’re not” Robin demanded
“Robin, must wewe always be so dramatic? I was gonna shadow tunnel wewe as soon as I got there” I pointed out
“Oh. wewe were? So there was no need for me to wake up the whole team and have them get ready to stop wewe in case wewe tried to run away to help her on your own?” Robin asked
“You did what?!” I exclaimed, looking around, now seeing the whole team listening and watching me
“Uh, never mind.
I sighed” Well I’ll be on my way now” I grabbed my carrots and started North East to the Empire State Building.
“Aren’t wewe forgetting something, Sarah?” Robin asked smoothly
“Nope. Nothing that I can think of” I replied innocently
“Let me help you. It’s a gift aliyopewa out of upendo au fear, sometimes out of happiness. It is something I gave wewe once, at a party. Kalder gave one to Musica, Wally gave one to Artemis, Super Boy to Megan.” The Boy Wonder hinted
I smiled and went back. We leaned in and just before we kissed I opened a shadow tunnel and was out 20 meters before Robin could even blink. I looked back at Robin’s stunned face and laughed loud enough for him to hear me.
