The door to the terminal opened slowly, as Megan landed the bioship in the big landing unit.
We all got out of the ship and headed to the Mission Room, where Erica sat at the computer, staring at nothing.
"Guys!" She greeted, hugging Robin, then looking at me. "That was fast!"
I showed her my scroll. "She didn't have time to teach me." I didn't miss her quick frown before she looked at it.
She smiled, then gave it back to me. "You have to practice this everyday, starting tomorrow."
KF looked at the ukuta clock. "I have to get to school!" he flashed out of the mountain and headed for his school.
Aqualad looked at me intently. "Do wewe go to school, Jeannette?"
"In fifth grade, they thought I was too smart so they sent me to high school early. Now that I'm done, I'm planning to go to college."
Superboy groaned. "Lucky, I just started!"
Erica didn't miss our "Central Park Zoo" t-shirts we had bought in New York.
"Umm, guys, can I talk to Erica for a bit?"
They nodded, then went into the lounge.
Erica smiled warmly. "What do wewe want to talk about?"
I took a deep breath. "Are you...mad, that I got your powers?"
"No, not all." Her smile was twitching.
"Well, Robin is!" I told her about Robin's rant two days ago, and all she did was stare at her feet.
"Well," she alisema finally, "I'm not MAD, Jenny. I'm just...what's the word? Sad, that I don't have my powers anymore." She put her hand on my shoulder. "But that shouldn't stop wewe from learning. I mean, every Avatar is bound to die sometime."
"I guess you're right," I admitted sadly.
She typed something into the computer. "You're off today."
"Why?" I asked.
"Batman scheduled a doctor's appointment for wewe at nyota Labs. Since wewe have very rare blood, he wants a doctor to give wewe a very special Tetanus shot."
Ew, shots. Not my thing. "Doesn't Superman's doctor work at nyota Labs?"
She nodded. "Your blood if so special that even Superman's doctor had to take a look at it."
"Am I going right now?" I asked.
"Yep. I already set the bioship coordinates for nyota Labs, so wewe don't have to drive."
"Thanks, Erica." I went to my room in the lounge and got into a new outfit, then headed for the bioship.
I didn't know why I was so nervous: It was the shot, au the fact that I had to drive the bioship kwa myself.

The New Adventures of Red Revenge
Episode One: Crimson Harvest
Prologue-
Sam tripped falling flat on his face in the mud. He stumbled up and continued running. Behind him he could hear the sound of a horse's hooves in hot pursuit and a vazi, pazia billowing through the grass.
"Pick up!" he whispered hoarsely into his microphone.
A rope leapt out at his ankles and tripped him.causing him to fall again. The grain in the field he was surrounded in clung to him. Sam rolled over to see Reaper's head blocking the crimson moon above. Reaper cocked a gun and pointed it at Sam's face.
"And now I finish it." he said, and pulled the trigger.
