When we got back to the cave I went to my room to get some rest. I lied down on my kitanda staring into space.
A while later max came in and sat down inayofuata to me.
"what?"I said.
"how did wewe end up here?" max asked.
"ummmmm. Not really shure. I guess I just beat up some bad guy and Batman came up to me and here I am." I replied. "What about you."
"Same here" max said.
I smiled, but my smile faltered.
"So what did happen to the others?" I asked max.
She sighed and alisema "I don't really want to talk about it right now."
I nodded."That's fine." I sighed.
Judging kwa the look of loss and guilt in her pretty brown eyes I guess that was the right thing to say.
"It's my fault." Max said.
"No. I left, and wasn't there to help fight. It's my fault." I responded.
"Exactly!" Max shouted. "You left because of me."
"How did wewe get out of there?" I asked.
"Batman and some other members of the justice leuge came. But they were a little late. Batman asked if I could come here." max answered.
Max still looked sad and on the verge of tears which was odd because I can count all the times I have seen her cry on on one hand.
I leaned over and kissed her "It'll be all right, we didn't make it this far for nothing and were not giving up now. We have a home, shelter and friends. Were not losing that to."i alisema comfortingly.
Max smiled and alisema "thanks."
I leaned over and kissed her again.
"Good night." I said
