“And wewe wont touch my friends?” Syd asked, walking out of the room where she had just changed from her usual white t-shirt and jeans into a tight black bodysuit with a red streak across it. “Work for us, and wewe Marafiki will leave this place within the hour.” Ty said, admiring her sudden change in uniform. “As long as my Marafiki are ok.” She whispered to herself, looking at the ground.

“How do we get them out?” Corey cautiously asked, staring at his Marafiki stuck in the tubes. They reminded him of little specimens stuck in test tubes, which was pretty much what they were. Blade cautiously walked up to the tube that Superboy was in and knocked on it, “Yep.” He alisema to himself. “What?” Alana asked, leaning in to hear what he was going to say. “Each of these tubes is lined with something specific to their powers. For example, Superboy’s is lined with Kryptonite; Miss Martian’s is lined with just plain heat; Rae’s is lined with some sort of radio frequency, and so on. “Let’s wake up Robin, Artemis, and Red before we do anything else though.” Corey warned cautiously. Alana and Blade both gave a slight nod and ran over to the unconscious heroes, Corey right behind them.
Robin was the first one awake and out of shackles. “What happened? Where are we?” He asked in a daze, looking around. “Long story short: We got our butts kicked, Sydney’s missing, and we are stuck here.” Blade quickly said. “Nice to know.” Robin replied, still processing what information had just been aliyopewa to him.
“Well, this is a surprising turn of events! The villain, doing a good deed? This has to be a first!” The group of teens turned around to see Cheshire, Copycat, Chameleon, Shadow, and a bunch of guards all standing near the entranceway. “You knew it was going to happen sooner au later, Chesh!” Blade snapped back. “Corey, Alana! Help me hold off these guys! Robin, try to get everyone else free!” He quickly shouted, and lunged at the villains standing in front of him. Alana also ran over, taking on Copycat. Corey just simply walked into the battlefield. Due to his powers, all he had to do to render a person unconscious was to just walk straight through them. Being the ecstatic person he was, he stopped at each person he saw and said, “Do wewe know where Syd is?” If the guards alisema no au didn’t respond at all, he would just walk through them to the inayofuata one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Is all this REALLY necessary?” Sydney asked as a guard cuffed her hands behind her back and Ty stood in front of her. “You alisema wewe wanted to see your Marafiki be freed. And we can’t take any risks, can we?” He smirked. Syd looked around cautiously, acknowledging the gun Ty held in his utility belt. “Ow!” She sharply whispered as the guard tightened the handcuffs. He started to push her down a hallway, with Ty in the lead. Eventually they reached a door, “Say goodbye to your friends.” Ty alisema evilly, and opened up the door. He finally realized what was going on inside, which was total chaos of fighting, “What the h-“ He started to shout, but was cut off kwa Blade, who was holding Cheshire in a choke hold, “Syd! You’re alive!” He shouted happily. “Nice to see wewe too?” She mumbled to herself.
"No, no, no, no!" Revenge said, wiping up the blood with his gloves. There was too much
on the floor. Too much had been lost. The sword that had done the damage was laying
over to the side. Revenge tried to pick it up, but his strength had left him. It clattered
to the floor beside him as he sank to his knees, the unbearable pain filling his
body and mind.
