Fin’s eyes were wide beneath her sunglasses, and her hair suddenly lit on fire. Nathan pulled away from her and his powers were working as well. He smiled at her.
“Cut the right cord, huh?”
“Shut up.”
But inside she was bubbling with excitement. He had... kissed her. He'd kissed her! Not the way she'd expected, but it happened.
She reached her hands towards the ukuta of ice. It began to quickly melt even before she touched it, but still at a somewhat slower rate. "Nathan, can you-"
Fin, are wewe still there? came Kaldur's voice. You went silent for a moment.
Yeah, I'm... I'm fine. We're cool. We're breaking through the ukuta right now.
Nathan got up and began to draw the ice away from the cave. The trees and nyasi behind them fell back into the snow as the two worked together.
Finally the ice shattered and the wind ripped at them. Connor, Megan, Wally and Aisling rushed towards them and grabbed them kwa the hands. Get into the bioship! Delta thought, watching from the inside of the transportation.
They rushed in. Fin was tackled kwa her sister, and as soon as she successfully pushed Delta off she pounced onto her brother. "Get off!" he yelled, but he was laughing.
Nathan shook Kaldur's hand. "It is good to see you, my friend," the Atlantian said.
Fin stood up and grinned. "Let's just go home." She watched Nathan through the corner of her eye, and he caught her even behind the glasses. He smiled.
Megan had cut off the link, now that they were all in the ship. Fin established her own connection with Nathan alone.
So... what is it wewe were going to say? she asked him, careful not to look at him.
Oh. I was gonna ask... His thought trailed off. Nevermind.
She smiled lightly. Yes, Nathan. I do upendo you.

wewe sat me down on a rock hard chair,
wewe told me i'd never leave,
But i didnt care!
You're the good guy,
And i aint,
Its time to say good bye, this aint our fate.
wewe fight for the good,
But i dont, i dont.
I'm not sure it wewe upendo me,
au i it just this good guy,
Bad girl chemistry?
You're the hero i'm suppose to hate,
But we dont play kwa the rules,
wewe took me on a date,
ANd when wewe got home, your freinds were like,
"You aint welcome back, Go get a life!"
Guess i have to say i'm sorry,
I didnt mean to casue ya trouble baby.
I'm not sure if wewe upendo me,
au is it this good guy,
Bad girl chemistry?
Music
I'm the villain babe,
You're suppose to stop me from coming,
au have a luck save.
I've got a hook,
And i'm pretty sure wewe know,
Its got something to do with your looks.

Somewhere in the Arctic, 4:49 a.m.
Nathan curled up on the rocky floor of the dark cave, protected from the snow for now. He'd found a piece of rock chipped off from the edges of the cavern and had somehow created a spark that had ignited into a flame. How it was sustaining, well, he didn't know. But it was keeping him warm, and for that he was grateful.
It suddenly dawned on him that he felt immensely drained, nearly useless. His moyo wasn't beating as fast as usuall. Pushing himself up, he went to find a pool of ice, to see what was wrong. What he saw shocked him: his hair had turned to it's orginal mocha hue, a sign of no powers.
He sighed, and realized with a jolt he was in a cave. A cave... and the last person he'd seen was the Batman's daughter. This small fact slightly amused him, but amusement turned to worry. "Fin..." he murmured. "Why can't wewe see past what I've done? Why can't wewe see that I upendo you?"
