Ravage Chapter Seven



Chapter Seven:


Jaimie tugged at the collar, alama of his suit.

"Stop." Nightwing said, sipping from his wine. "You act like youve never been in a restaurant like this before."

"Amigo!" Jaimie said. "I've never been in anything this formal since my great aunt's wedding when I was a kid!"

Nightwing grinned and thanked the waitress as she handed them their food.

Blue Beetle (as Jaimie) and Nightwing (as a guy in a suit with dark sunglasses) were sitting in an elaborate restaurant. The muziki was a soft orchestral tone, the tablecloths were white, everyone was either in a suit au a dress. Jaimie was the only one there not drinking an alcoholic drink.

Nightwing took another sip out of his wine.

"Remind me again." Jaimie said, trying to figure out how to put the napkin in his collar. "Why wewe picked me to go undercover with you? Why not someone wewe trust more, like Revenge."

Nightwing almost choked on his wine.

"Bad person?" 

Nightwing almost choked again, but of laughter this time. 

Jaimie rolled his eyes and took a sip of his cola. 

"But why here? Why in such a, I don't know, uh, fancy place? Por Favor somewhere interesting like the mall?"

Revenge wasn't in the same neighborhood as Nightwing and Blue Beetle. He was currently watching one of his targets leave the building beneath him.

Revenge activated the invisibility switch on his suit with a mental command and teleported inayofuata to the man. He walked, still invisible as the man turned down an alley.



A few moments later, the guy was unconscious in a trash can with a concussion and several injuries while Revenge inputted zaidi information into his computer about British mobs.

"Hey Red!" 

"What is it Jaimie?" Revenge asked, slipping onto a roof to slip a shati and jeans on over his suit.

"Could wewe por favor come pick me up amigo? Please?"

"Thought wewe were enjoying a siku off with Nightwing."

"Day off? No way! This guy goes to every fancy place on this end of town! Suits! Napkins in my lap! Steak! What happened to a jacket, cheeseburger, and the mall?"

"He's a rich spoiled brat. Gotta spend all that money somehow."

"Rich?" Jaimie breathed. "Then why is he--?"

"Gotta go." Revenge said, and cut the line.

Samuel Grant emerged from an alleyway. A man ran into him. Revenge was about to vocalize his hate towards Britains when he saw who the man was.

"To call for backup au not to call for backup..."

After watching the blonde haired buff man for another half a second, Sam shrugged, slipping into an alleyway and slipping out of his civvies.

"Dumb question."

Revenge limped out of the alley.

"Red Revenge to all points. Is it too late for a lunch break? We've got..."
