Remember that season 1 episode 'Failsafe'?
Well this is what I thought on how why they had to do it the 'Fake Mission Test' and stuff.

The Test:
Mount Justice 3:27pm
"Remind me NEVER to go near a bomb ever again!" Superboy said. With two black eyes and torn shati and pants-he looked a mess.
"But at least wewe saved us," KidFlash stated "Or we wouldn't even be here-but in our death beds."
"You got that right." Artemis alisema She was really angry, as her trusty green bow had snapped in two AGAIN and she was completely out of arrows. Luckily the mission was over and they were back home, well Artemis wasn't really nyumbani but if she wasn't in the apartment where she and her mum lived-this was like her sekunde home.
"Yah WE are alive-but we didn't stop Queen Bee in time, she got away and we didn't get the information for Batman," Robin alisema "We failed."
"This time the League will definitely have our heads" KidFlash said, "Sure the only time we ever did something bad was rescuing Supey, but we made it at that last mission. But this-this time we officially failed."
"What will happen to us NOW???" Artemis wailed. Her sister and father were trying to kill her and the team, her bow and arrow was broken, the team hardly knew who she was, she nearly drowned trice in a row, now THIS? She couldn't take it anymore.
"Will the League ground us?" MsMartian said?
"No, Well I hope not." Aqualad said, biting his lip with worry. What would be the stat of him. The team never failed-never Lost a battle. What would King Orin say to him now?
While the Team were standing there thinking, Batman walked in.
"Well?"
"We um, uh, we ugh, um uh," Robin stuttered-trying to spit it out.
"We failed the mission wewe gave us Batman" Aqualad said, "Queen Bee got away along with the equipment and Sprotsmaster and Ugly were working with them along with Lex Luther and The Brain.
"It was all a set-up, a wild goose, bata bukini chase." Robin said.
Batman raised an eyebrow (Well wewe can't see it, but thats what he did under his mask)
While Aqualad explained-all Batman could do was shake his head.
"You meant to go CONVERT, not attack. We asked wewe and told wewe a million times to tafuta for information and ripoti back. If the League needed to intervene wewe could have asked."
"But Red Tornado said..." Waste of breath.
"I alisema and told wewe so-you should inayofuata time take instructions CAREFULLY. That goes for wewe Aqualad." Batman said.
Aqualad looked up-he was day-dreaming.
"Sorry, Batman."
Batman shook his head.
"Hit the showers and head home, and come back at 5:00pm. We got a lot of work to do."
"But I AM home." Superboy stated, but no one payed any attention to him.

Mount Justice 5:00pm.
"What does Batman want us to do around this hour?" Aqualad said.
"I dunno-but I bet it isn't going to be good." KidFlash said.
"Does Batman do this all the time?" MsMartian said.
"Don't know." Robin said.
KidFlash looked around the lounge/kitchen. "Where is Artemis?"
"Don't know" Robin said.
"I'm here!" Artemis exclaimed but KidFlash was oblivious to that.
"Could wewe stop that?" KidFlash alisema to Robin.
"Stop what?" Robin said.
"With the 'Don't know?'"KidFlash answered.
"Shut-up KF" Robin replied.
Just before KidFlash and Robin could start a fight-Red Tornado, Martian Manhunter and Batman came in.
Batman motioned them to come over and told them to lie down on the white tables.
Martian Manhunter told them that he was going to give them all a test in their brains with a psychic link between them all.
"This 'Mission' on what you're going to take is not real. We are going to test wewe on how wewe guys are going to do well in this au what. The mission is made to make it an ongoing fail coarse.
Batman said.
"It will be fine" Red Tornado assured them.
"Just remember: Its just a test." Batman warned them.
"O.K" The Team alisema all together-wondering how it will go.
Martian Manhunter closed his eyes, raised his hands to form the psychic link and the Test began in full swing.
