Wally knelt behind a pile of crates. He had no idea where his teammates had gone. There was only one way to contact them without Sportsmaster knowing they were here. "Hey K.F, have wewe seen Supey?" says a voice. Wally jumps. "Jeez, Nightwing. Way to finally onyesha up." He shrugs. "I had to set up the spy cams. If wewe had come, Sportsmaster definately would have known we were here." Wally put his hand on his chest. "Oh I'm hurt, bro. But no, I haven't seen Supey. Haven't really seen anyone." There is a pause. "You don't think..." Nightwing shakes his head. "No way this is a trap..."
"Wally!" echoed off the walls. He glanced at Dick. "You heard that, right?" It had sounded like Artemis's voice. Dick nodded. Suddenly, the blonde archer appeared, Kaldur following close behind. "Wally!" she exclaimed, running over to him and hugging him. "Uh, Artemis???" the surprised yet happy teenager questioned, returning the hug. "This is a trap... we have to get out of here." Wally looks at her. "You were worried about me. wewe like me, don't you?" Artemis looks at him and then lets go of him. "I-" A man stepped out of the shadows. "My sweet, sweet daughter. "World domination, my daughter to come to back to our side, Kid Flash to die..." Artemis narrowed her eyes. "Why is only his death of importance to you?" Kaldur asked angrily. "Because wewe fool. He is the reason why Artemis became good." He cast his hate-filled gaze at the speedster. "Always gave her the strength to fight back when I hit her. Kept her believing that Heroes really did exsist. Kept her believing that one siku she could be as perfect as he was." Artemis closed her eyes. Wally looked at Artemis. So this rough-exteriored girl was really just scared and sensitive on the inside. "We don't have time for this." Dick angrily. "Chung ta hay." Artemis whispered, turning away from her father. "Rat tot. Chi mot lan." he replied in Vietnamese. And with that, Sportsmaster disappeared. "Can we go home?" Artemis whispered, not making eye contact with anyone. No one pressed her as they headed for the Bio-ship. She sank into her kiti, kiti cha and spoke to no one.
Wally was the first one off the alien craft. He waited, knowing Artemis would be the last. Conner and M'Gann had snuck onto the ship to kiss. They passed kwa him and gave him a good-luck look. Dick slapped his shoulder and Kaldur nodded. Wally leaned against the wall. It was five dakika before she finally came out. Her mask was off and she wipes her eyes. "Artemis." he alisema seriously. She looked at him. Her gray eyes were puffy. "What Baywatch." she said, clearly not in the mood to be messed with. He paused for a moment, not sure how to begin. She started to walk away and he grabbed her arm. "I'm uh sorry about your dad abusin-" Artemis kisses him. "No apologies. Please. It's hard enough to be going through this alone." she whispers after pulling away. She gently breaks away from his grip and walks slowly to her room. "But wewe aren't alone..." he whispers quietly, watching her disappear. He closed his eyes. All of the emotions inside his moyo were driving him crazy. "Oh man...this is going to be harder than I thought."
"You have that right." says a voice. Before Wally could turn around to see who it was, he wad already drifting into the clutches of unconsciousness.
