She flew over the rocky terrain, breathing in the fresh air. Her blackened wings flapped gently, pulling her above the ground and towards the clouds. She folded in her wings as she got closer to the ground. She landed on her feet gently. She walked around a little, relishing the cold breeze flying through the summer air. She found a patch of yellow wild roses and picked one.
She heard a flapping noise behind her, turning to look. Nothing but a bluebird. She went back to walking around. When the sun started to set, she turned to go back. She got closer to the edge of the mountain, about to open her wings. A hand wrapped around her waist, locking her arms at her sides. Another hand snaked around her neck, holding a kisu to the sensitive flesh.
“Teague! Let me go!”
A tinkling laugh echoed in her ears.
“Sorry to disappoint Devin, but it's not Teague. au do wewe not remember?”
“Amber?”
“Good angel! Now stay still. au I'll cut you.”
Devin stayed still as Amber released her arms. She felt a tug at her neck before Amber held up the necklace.
“No! That's mine!”
Amber laughed again.
“Be honest with me Devin. Birdboy gave this to you. But we both know wewe don't deserve it, right?”
Devin closed her eyes, tears sliding past.
“Right,” she whispered.
“See? So keep calm. This mkufu belongs to me now. And soon so will everything else that wewe currently own.”
Amber placed a hand to Devin's back. The Angel gasped as she felt her wings grow cold and hard.
“My dearest Devin, your wings are now crystals. So the swali is do I push wewe off the cliff and send wewe back to Hell au do I keep wewe alive to have wewe watch as I steal everything from you?”
Devin whimpered as the kisu dug into her skin.
“Oh wewe know I can't get enough of that sound! So...alive wewe shall be. But only until I take everything that is yours. Starting with this mkufu and ending with your angel's life.”

Sneak Peek Part II
Revenge au Redemption
"This Way!" Revenge yelled.
I followed, ducking into a closet. My yellow/black cape swished behind me and exposed where we were.
"Tam! Ogan'!" a voice yelled.
The Russians brought their guns to kubeba on the wooden door and fired. Revenge leaped in front of me, taking the shock and damage of the bullets. But fifteen AK-47s firing into his chest managed to knock him out.
The Russians busted open the door and knocked me down with a bunduki to the head. One pointed his gun at me.
"Ostan'sya vnizu malen'kaya devochka!" he yelled.
I struggled to think, the blow to my head had me in a daze.
"C'mon Barbara! Think! You're in Russia! Batman taught wewe this much."
After a bit of thinking, I managed to translate it into 'Stay down little girl'.
The inayofuata time they alisema something, it was easier to translate.
"Voz'mite ikh s losifom!"
Translation: Take them to Joseph.
