We all know that Zayn Malik is currently very busy beavering away and recording his first lot of solo tracks in a tent over in LA, but it sounds like the people behind the scenes are also well on the way to coming up with a master plan to launch the music onto the world.

Spearheading this strategy is Zayn\'s new manager Sarah Stennett, who unsurprisingly  has some big plans for his career. 

As the woman behind Ellie Goulding and Iggy Azalea\'s careers, she clearly knows a thing or two about helping launch a superstar and she\'s taking a no nonsense approach to Zayn\'s post-One Direction comeback as a solo artist.

Speaking to Billboard about their plans, she said: "The environment he was in was all about compromise.

"My job is simple: to make sure nobody gets in the way of him becoming an important artist."

While she refused to say much more on the subject, she did confirm that Zayn has got one track recorded and in the bag.
