Advice Swali

Should I songesha to another company?

I’ve been working years in my profession and was even branded as the juu foreign dating coach in our agency. So I can’t seem to comprehend why I still get the short end of the straw when it comes to bigger opportunities in the office. There was an opening position in our satellite office that I wanted so bad. I sent out an barua pepe to onyesha my interest but this newbie in our department got it instead. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I honestly feel so unappreciated. This isn’t the first time that an incident like this happened. Is this a big sign for me to start looking for new avenues?

As this has been haijajibiwa for 5months i'm very interested to know what wewe have decided on your own terms. Have wewe stuck to your old job au found a new one?
As for your original swali there are many aspects that could be why wewe have not been promoted au moved to a different department when wewe have expressed interest. The most positive of these is that wewe are just too good at your job. Many companies see their work as pieces of a clock, when things are working just fine and as it should, they like to leave things as they are.
The other zaidi depressing aspect could be that wewe are just not qualified enough (on paper) au your boss(es) think wewe are just not capapble,
As a very up-front person, i always ask if there are any comments, tips au even some concerns from my employer about my performance every so often. When i started my new job that was monthly, which has now been changed to 6monthly if yearly as i have been with my company for 4years now. That gives my employer a chance to pick up on my best and worst and also gives me insight to what i can improve on.
There is no risk in asking for an assessment, it shows your are serious about your work productivity but kubeba in mind wewe must take what they say seriously and if any areas do need improving take steps to actually improve them .
It could also be worth talking to whoever is in charge of training in your office/department to see if wewe can further your education in the company au learn new skills to give wewe that boost into promotion.
Good Luck.
