Dustin's POV
It has been a siku since Humphrey banished me from his pack and I was now heading north towards the lake that I would go to, to clear my thoughts but this time instead of clearing my thoughts I would practice my powers and see what they could really do. I already knew how to shift with ease but there's got to be zaidi I can learn. It was mid afternoon when I arrived at the lake and as always it was peaceful and quiet. I sat on the pwani and looked out onto the lake as I thought of what to shift into. I was interrupted from my thoughts kwa a samaki that splashed around in the water, that's when I figured out that if I could shift into any land creature then I could shift into aquatic creature too. I figured that I could shift into a large samaki and swim around the lake, I walked out onto the lake until the water was up to my neck. The water was freezing and I was starting to shiver, I thought of a large samaki in my head and I felt my body start to shift. My fur, manyoya was replaced with scales and my legs disappeared and turned into fins, my vision was changed so I could only see what to that side of me. I started swimming through all of the vegetation that blanketed the lake bed, I could see some other samaki but none of them were bigger than me. After swimming around for awhile I found that being a samaki could be helpful if wewe need to escape another mbwa mwitu that was after you, bit other then that it was pretty boring.
I swam back to pwani and shifted back to my regular self. As soon as I walked back into the forest I felt something throw me down to the ground, I turned my head around and saw a mbwa mwitu that was pining my down and there were two others behind him all growing at me.
"What the hell was that I just saw?" The mbwa mwitu pining me down asked
"What do wewe mean?" I alisema not knowing what they were talking about
"You know exactly what I'm taking about!" He alisema "We saw a samaki splash on the surface and inayofuata thing I know I saw it turn into you."
I knew I was caught but I decided to make something up "Well looks like wewe guys are on something because your seeing things" I alisema starting to laugh "I was just taking a quick swim to clean up my fur, manyoya and then I was going to head north."
"Liar! I clearly saw it as clear as day" He said
"Alright fine wewe caught me" I said
"Can wewe please explain what I saw?" He alisema letting me go
"No first I want wewe to tell me what pack wewe guys came from" I alisema getting up and sitting down
"Were a patrol group from the Northern pack" He said
'Northern pack, perfect' "Ok since wewe are from the Northern pack I would like to speak to your leader." I said
"And why would that be?" He asked
"Well I was banished from Western pack and I'm planning my revenge on them." I said
"Well alright, follow me" He alisema as he and the others started walking
I got up and followed them as we headed to the Northern packs territory.
