"Gavan he's waking up." Dane alisema as I tried desperately to open my eyes.
"Dane? What happened?"
"We found wewe passed out in front of the pango and we thought something was wrong." He alisema with a worried face, "Are wewe okay?"
I shook my head yes although I could feel some pain in my arm. I just thought that it was from me sleeping wrong, but it didn't feel as if that. It felt as if someone was gnawing at me. I looked around the pango for Anna, but she wasn't there. "Where's Anna?"
"The Moonlight Howl Rock." Gavan replied.
"What is she doing there?"
They both shrugged. "How should we know?" Gavan said.
"I'm going after her."
"No wewe need your rest." Gavan alisema standing in front of me.
"LET ME OUT." I yelled.
"No yo-" Gavan couldn't finish before I ran and shoved him out of the way.
"Jason! Wait!" Gavan yelled running after me.
"Gavan."
"What Dane? We need to go after him."
"Wait. Let him go."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I kept running. Then I realized that I must have missed the turn for the Moonlight Howl Rock because I have never seen this area before, so I stopped in the middle of a clearing. My body was in pure agony and couldn't bare to take another step.
"How could I be this tired?" I thought as I stood there panting. I took a step mbele and winced at the pain my muscles sent out. "I haven't been running full blast that long have I?" I asked myself. I stood there confused and then heard my stomach growl menacingly. "I guess that not eating breakfast wasn't the best of ideas."
I was still angry at myself for not being able to go longer. I got up again, fighting through the pain. I walked a little ways and I noticed a rabbit zip past me. My stomach growled at the sight of it and I began to chase after it. My hunger seemed to have numbed the pain of my muscles because I caught up to the rabbit quicker than I have ever in my life. The rabbit had no chance as I pounced on it and killed it. I picked up my prize kwa the ears and took it back to the clearing.
"Not much, but I guess it will do for now." I alisema as I set my chakula down. I laid down to get comfortable. Before I could begin to eat I heard a rustling from the kichaka near me. I quickly got to my feet and stood there not knowing what to do. Before I knew it a slim figure ran through the bush, and took the rabbit kwa the ears and ran off.
I ran and ran after the figure but eventually Lost him. I ran over to the bushes to try and see if I could make him out, luckily I got some of mother's tracking skill in my blood because I quickly made up with the thief.
The thief was a grey male with a poorly kept fur. He ran up to a female mbwa mwitu who had orangish fur, manyoya and a white underbelly.(Recognize her???).
"Good job honey." The female said.
"Thanks." The male alisema as he chuckled, "Looks like we win again."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." I yelled as I jumped out of the bushes and confronted them.
"Kate get behind me!" The male yelled as he got into a fighting stance.
I ran after him and grabbed his shoulder and threw him against a wall. He hit and fell to the ground trying to catch his breath."Is that all wewe got?" He yelled biting my leg and flipping me around and slamming me into the rock with his shoulder. We both stood there panting hard and staring at each other panting hard. Then I realized that he said, "Kate."
"Wait a second. Did wewe say Kate?" I asked.
"Yeah, what is it to you?" He replied.
"Nothing. I'll leave, enjoy your meal wewe two." I alisema walking away limping from the wounds that he gave me.
They both looked at each other. Then the male called to me ans said, "Wait."
"Yes?" I alisema as I turned around.
"This is Kate, my mate," He alisema slightly pausing and looking away, "And my name is."
"Is what sir?" I asked starting to cheer up.
"My name is...Humphrey."
"Dane? What happened?"
