Song 4: link

For me, there is no song
Unless I sing it,
And yet I upendo you,
And make music
Which I cannot hear.

I slept on the meza, jedwali again. There is a crick in my neck, threatening to become permanent from my head being bent over the meza, jedwali each night rather than on my pillow.
But I cannot sleep in that bed. Not knowing that she is supposed to be there with me. In my arms. My body warming hers. Loving hers. Worshipping hers.
    I miss her so much.
The sting of her betrayal is nothing compared to the burning gash...

I am not free, wewe see,
I rearrange the furniture.
It is a play, with picha and walls,
In which I rearrange the furniture.
And when the room is mine,
The chairs are real,
I rearrange the furniture.

“Gwen, can wewe help me a moment, please?” Merlin sticks his head out of the doors leading to Arthur’s chambers, and, having spotted her passing, calls.
“Of course, Merlin, what do wewe need?” Gwen asks, turning towards the doors.
“Arthur wanted me to change his drapes,” he sighs, walking ahead of her.

hujambo all!

Here's the final part to the post 4x09 episodes. It's the companion piece to Numb and Ache.

Links to those are:

Ache: link

Just a quick note. I began this long before the events of the past few episodes so I have it going an entirely different direction than the onyesha does. There's no princess au Helios, though Arthur's life is in danger. This is only one way that their reunion could happen--at least in my mind. :)

Hope wewe enjoy! Would upendo to hear what wewe think! :)

Post 4x09 Guinevere POV. Angsty. I know this is not how things will go, but still... :) Also, if interested I have an Arthur POV that I can finish up and post soon.

Numb

“I cannot be without you.”

Those words are as true today as the siku I spoke them nearly three weeks ago.

Even zaidi so.

I have proof now.

Since leaving Camelot, I have learned much about myself. I can breathe, and still not live. I can stumble, fall – even bleed – and feel no pain. I can see the sun, sense its warmth touching my skin, yet my Bones are as cold as those of a dead man.

For I am but...

LC2: Entry 1: Fate’s Weave
Title: Fate’s Weave
Theme word/s: Portrait/Shadow
Author: elegantpaws
Rating: G
Word count: 2,119
Characters/Pairings: Merlin, Eventually Arthur/Gwen
Warnings: wewe might actually laugh.
Disclaimer: Own nothing but the pleasure of it.
Summary: Sometimes Fate requires a helping hand.

There really were three great smells of a morning to greet you, when lucky.

Fresh coffee brewed to perfection. The tantalizing odour of well crisped bacon, and the subtle waft to the nostrils of baked bread, even if of the store bought, stick it in the tanuri, joko variety.

A sleepy half smiled played...

"A Lesson in Vengeance"

Actually, I’m not sure how to feel about this one. In a way I think we’re most of us feeling a little apprehensive about seeing Gwen on the evil side which is how we left her last week, but on the other hand, we’re kind of looking mbele to this change in personality for the character and Angel. No little “Mary Sue” this week. I won’t go into how many times we’ve read complaints about THAT.

Soooooo, let’s see. Let’s see what we’ve got here. Most of us are withholding judgment until we see how this thing plays out. Then I’m sure we’ll have plenty to say, lol.

I still like the little clip we got yesterday: the little smile that passed between A and G and the look on her face when he fell. I still wish that meant something that a few of us would like to see, but not holding our breaths are we?
Well after watching Arthur’s Bane- Part 2, I guess the whole magic the acceptance au lack thereof is going to be the main storyline.

When Gwen told Sefa “ Respect is to be earned, it can not be bought with blood.” She was right. But the problem is Uther used might (blood) to persecute those with magic, and now in turn some, who want magic to be accepted, are using violence (blood) to try to regain acceptance. Two wrongs don’t make a right. How does one fix this?

Some think that Arthur should lift the ban on magic and allow magical beings to live in freedom. If only it was that simple....

"The Drawing of the Dark"

What is this episode about again? I forgot. Oh! I think it’s something about Mordred and there’s a Druid girl in the mix somewhere. In fact, I think this is the major issue of the plot, right? And somewhere in the mix is, of course, Merlin. From my understanding, what happens here impacts the future. The future for Arthur and Gwen, and for Camelot. And for this onyesha we love. It’s going to set us up for the end, I think. I’m starting to feel zaidi and zaidi apprehensive about what will happen on krisimasi Eve. In fact, it might be a good idea not to watch until...

Here is the sekunde fic I completed for the battle:

They sit quietly for a moment, still pondering the strange coincidence about their mothers. I need to hold him. Gwen leans over and puts her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder. He kisses her forehead, and notices a scar there, about an inch long, faint but there.
“Where did wewe get this?” he pokes it with his finger.
“I walked into the jikoni meza, jedwali when I was three,” she tells him. He laughs, and she protests, “I suppose wewe have no scars from something dumb wewe accidentally did as a...

Arthur stares into the rear-view mirror, watching the motorcycle parked behind him, its lights flashing, as he sits on the shoulder of Los Angeles’ I-5.
He sighs, watching the officer climb off the bike, remove his kofia, chapeo and set it on the kiti, kiti cha of his bike.

MONDAY

“Arthur, wewe don’t even like coffee,” Merlin says, confused, following Arthur inside a small storefront coffee house. He looks around the place. It appears to have just opened for the day, as there are no customers yet and everything is spotless.

“You’re late,” they hear a smoky feminine voice say from somewhere behind the counter. “Usually you’re in before I’ve even turned the sign over. I was beginning to wonder if wewe were at nyumbani sick or...

“Penny for your thoughts?” Merlin asks, slapping Arthur’s shoulder and circling his friend around to stand facing him.
Arthur looks up at Merlin and seems surprised. “Huh?”
“You seem deep in thought …”
“I am? I didn’t realize that,” Arthur says, drinking again.
“You can lie to anyone Arthur, but not me. I know wewe too well … what’s on your mind?” Merlin...

Gwen stretches herself and slowly lifts her eyelids. The morning sun warms up her skin and she can hear the birds chirping outside the window. It’s a beautiful morning and she feels light. Her head feels light as well as her heart. After talking at length with Merlin yesterday, she has learned a great deal about Arthur. And now her moyo feels heavy for him, despite her good mood. She feels sorry and wants to help him but she still doesn’t know how. She now realizes that she had jumped to some hasty conclusions about Arthur and now she really does not have any clue...

Arthur is still sprawled on his kitanda when someone knocks on the door of his chamber. He stirs uneasily and listens. The knocks come again, rapidly. Sighing in annoyance at being disturbed in the morning, he rolls to his back and yawns.

    “Who is it?” he calls.

“Merlin,” comes the answer from the other side of the door.

“Hmmph. Come in …” Arthur says, throws the sheets aside, and gets up. He rubs his face when Merlin opens the door and walks in, closing it behind him.

“Where is Freya? She should be here kwa now?” Morgana flails about, pacing.
“Morgana, settle down. It’s only half eight. She’ll be here. The wedding isn’t until four anyway. Did wewe call Elliot?” Gwen says, calmly sipping her tea.
“Yes, he’s up, but he’s not happy,” she grins.

FRIDAY

Gwen wakes at about seven-thirty. Morgana is picking her up in just over an saa to get to the spa kwa nine. She looks over at Arthur. He is sprawled on his stomach, one arm thrown across her middle. His face is half-buried in the mto and his mouth is open and drooling.
Sexy, Gwen thinks sarcastically and laughs to herself. Worming her way out from under his arm, she gets up and starts getting herself ready.

Guinevere squirms slightly, blinking her eyes open to look at the clock. 3:52. May as well get up, Dad will be here in just over an hour. She twists in Arthur’s tight embrace, finding her body stiff. I don’t think I moved at all. I don’t think he would have let me had I tried.
