Why don't wewe believe in God?

I'm a 14 mwaka old girl btw, so my reasons are based solely on my interpretation of the world, not kwa courses and classes and religious/atheist texts (though I do upendo Richard Dawkin's work!)

I don't believe in the magic man in the sky because he hasn't give us proof that he exists. I've also got such a huge ego that I can't bring myself to "worship," but that's another thing :P

I find that god is a fancy name for the gaps in our knowledge.

I'm 14 mwaka old girl too and i don't really believe in god because of the science and because of the lack of proof cuz i don't really like to put my faith in something au *someone* that don't onyesha signs, the message that the religions are telling to me is to believe and obey blindly and they are putting strict rule that we must obey au if we don't follow the rules we will go to hell those rules are trying to change the human nature wich is not perfect if he reallly existed he will help us with the pollution if he really existed and he really *love* us he will put an end to the war that sever in this world. The last thing is that i can believe in science because it has physical proof and religion have only mental proof ( like people says that god talked to them in their dream) human kind is known to have a huge imagination. And before someone die the last part of the body that still is active is the part of the brain where wewe can imagine xD.

Religion is only bringing even zaidi war :(

I don't believe in any gods because there isn't any evidence for any gods.

One of the biggest issues I have with the very idea of a god existing is that in order to believe in a god wewe would have to accept that it is possible for a mind au consciousness to exist without a brain (unless it is an earthly god?).

All observed minds are products of brains, and although that is not the same as proving it is impossible to have minds without brains, it goes against biology, logic, and plain old common sense.

As for the Judeo-Christian god, I have other problems including his character. If the Bible provides an accurate depiction of God's character, then he is a psychotic, bloodthirsty megalomaniac (particularly in the Old Testament).

If there was a God..Why is he au she letting all these kids have cancer? Why are they dying? Why are soo many innocents losing what they hold close to them? Children losing parents at a young age, people losing loved ones at such a young age? That's the reason I am Atheist. I just don't see how our world is like this if there was a God..

I honestly haven't seen much, if any evidence that any sort of Supernatural being exists at all, and lots of proof that he doesn't, for instance, evolution. It's backed kwa evidence and reasoning, and creationism isn't.
Also, a lot of things that have to do with Christianity don't make sense, like Adam and Eve, for example.
Also, as I think someone has already said, if there really is a god, then why are so many people dying, and why is the world so messed up these days? And why aren't zaidi people's "prayers" being answered?

Another thing that I've found a bit confusing is how many religions exist in the world today. It doesn't seem as though all those gods would really exist.

Anyways, the whole thing just doesn't make sense. And either way, i'm not the kind of person who would want to have to rely on au constantly look up to some higher power anyways. I think that I and I alone am responsible for my life, not some guy in the sky that I can't prove the existence of.

Religious texts contradict observable nature and are suspect. On an intellectual nature about the origin of the universe, there is no particular reason to believe in an intelligent designer. There might be one, but there's no point in believing in something for which no evidence exists. wewe can talk about the world being too complex to have occurred naturally, and wewe can say the world is too complex to be designed kwa any one being. Where did the designer come from? Why is a self-dependent designer zaidi logical than an infinite past au a universe that is itself self-dependent for no apparent reason? All wewe can really do is look at what the science suggests about the early universe and say which idea wewe find zaidi comfortable, but it doesn't make sense to trust in the existence of something just because the idea is nice.

I believe that the idea of religion in general is based on a dark age view of trying to bring reason to things they cant explain... the idea that we carry on today with this stupid idea is foolish like people are in denial, it goes in the face of science

Also believing in a floating Superman type guy always watching everything is a little creepy, like a super-stalker O.o

It's not '' God ''. It's Religion in general. I just don't think it applies to the human race. Look at everything we're capable of, and look at everything we do to one another and what we do to the planet.


No amount of '' praying '' and '' living kwa the Bible '' can au will ever change human instinct.


wewe have one life to live, so why not live it how wewe choose to do, and not kwa what some Boook says au what wewe were taught to believe.


(yes I am aware aloat of people don't live kwa ever line of the Bible, but it's ALOT zaidi than the majority)
