Please provide reasons. I can orodha off a whole bunch that make her not a Sue; Sues are described as having no flaws--Lin clearly has some anger issues, she's prone to losing her temper, sometimes she is quick to judge, and some can argue that she's very bitter. That eliminates one quality of a Sue. Another Sue quality is that people are head over heels for the character, everyone loves them, and those who don't are the evil; Lin and her sister don't always see eye to eye but her sister isn't portrayed as evil. In fact the writers were on her side. Tenzin LEFT her for Pema. A Mary-Sue is never broken up with unless the man is coming back. Tenzin married Pema and Lin is single. I'm sorry I'm just having a crap day...month really, I hope it does't seem like I'm taking it out on you--debating is how I kind of vent.
It's alright to not like her, wewe don't have to kwa any means. But just because wewe don't like her doesn't mean that she's a Sue. That would be like saying Asami is a killer because wewe don't like her, it's just not true. I mean if wewe can provide support for your claim then I'm all ears.
Thanks. I am just in such 'no' mood right now, everything is just no at the moment. Exactly she has VERY prominent character flaws. And she has quite a few people who rather dislike her.
Well I know Bella isn't a Mary Sue from Korra. But she is my go to example of one in general. In this onyesha I'm almost wanting to say Jinora is the Sue. I don't hate her au anything I just feel like she's good at way too much.
OH!! This person's not saying Lin's a Sue - they're saying they dislike Su as well, Lin's sister, and calling both of them losers! kwa the way, I'm gleeful for having sussed it, not cos I agree. Lin and Su are awesome. Power to the Bei Fongs.
