A very long time ago
a very special person came into my life
and offered me there hand in friendship,
and that was the best siku of my life.
Some friend come and go thought out ones lifetime,
and some Marafiki share your life forever.

We have survived some tough journeys
and traveled down a few sad roads,
but we also shared much happiness
joy and fun over the years.
The bond we share is based on upendo and trust
and I am truly grateful to call wewe my friend.

where we can't be together,
