Nate couldn’t believe Chuck had just owned up to loving Blair.
Somehow the thought of those two together tore him up inside!
So this was how Blair had felt when she’s found out about him and
Serena, WOW, it hurt! Wait though, why was it bothering him so
much, it wasn’t like he loved Blair, everyone knew he never really
had. He didn’t, did he?
He couldn’t figure it out, the one thing he thought he did know was
that Blair had no idea of Chuck’s feelings for her, maybe they were
one sided? While he had his chance he had to find out about his
feelings, after all Blair didn’t upendo chuck, did she?
Nate ran inside, leaving Chuck standing baffled on the sidewalk!
C: Nate, Bro.... What’s going on??
Chuck quickly took another deep drag on his cigarette and then
stubbed it out and after checking round and adjusting his koti, jacket
went to follow Nate inside.

Meanwhile Blair has been looking for Chuck and was stood near
Vanessa’s table, Vanessa had been the only person Blair had found
who might know where Nate was and she knew that Nate would
zaidi than likely be with Chuck!
B: As much as it pains me to come to wewe for help.... I believe you’re
probably the only person who is likely to know where Nate is??
V... Well I did come as his Date, (she smirks at Blair)
B: Date, Charity case, yeah... last time I checked they meant the
same thing! (She smirks back at Vanessa) So do wewe know where Nate
is au what?
V: I don’t want to help wewe out, but I think it’s probably the only way to
get rid of wewe so, the last time I checked he was headed outside with
Chuck... It is Chuck your really after isn’t it??
Just then Nate enters from the other side of the room. Blair is looking
at Vanessa in shock!
V: I think that silence majibu my swali perfectly, and just in case it
is Nate your wanting he just walked in here.
Blair turns around to see N approaching her

Nate enters the room and searches quickly for Blair. He locates her and
runs over. She was stood near Vanessa’s table. Shit he’d forgotten he
brought her here as his date. He breaths in deep, this was his only chance
he had to do this. As he approaches her Blair turns around to see him,
N- (breathless) hujambo B
B- Hi Nate have wewe seen... (she looks at V who smirks)... Ch
N suddenly kisses B roughly on the lips stopping her mid sentence.
B quickly and firmly shoves Nate away and glares at him
B- What the HELL Nate? What do wewe think you’re doing??
SHIT!! Nate thought, she did upendo Chuck! Oh GOD, what had he done, he
knew he didn’t upendo her, he never had, it was just this insane jealousy he
had, like he felt he deserved some sort of hold over her, he didn’t want
her, but he didn’t want anyone else to have her either. He was angry,
FUCK! Why had they been hiding it from everyone anyway, things like
this weren’t the kind of thing wewe kept secret from your best friends,
Nate snarled.

Chuck walks into the room just in time to see N kiss his girl! (His upendo for
her was stronger than he thought,) He began storming over, (he had a major
sense of protectiveness. He wanted to protect her, to upendo her, to be the one
to keep her safe) then he saw B shove Nate with all her might. He smiled
proudly and then walked over.

Nate turns around to see Chuck walking over.
N- Look, bro, it’s not how it looks
C- Oh yeah?
N- Yeah... it’s... just...
C- I don’t fucking believe wewe
Chuck smacks Nate straight in the face and Nate falls to the floor.
B- What.... the... hell? Chuck?
C- Don’t mention it. (Goes to pull Blair towards him)
B- Forget it Chuck, I don’t need wewe fighting my battles for me.
C- I know, I just...
Blair walks away from Chuck
C... wanted to protect you
Nate scrambles up off the floor
N- ....AHH (feels his chin)...Please... Chuck...
C- I don’t want to know man!
Chuck runs after Blair.
Vanessa has witnessed the whole thing from her seat, she feels so
stupid, tears well up in her eyes and she stubbornly wipes them before
they fall.
V: (to Nate) I think it’s time I left aswell!
She gets up and leaves without looking back
Nate calls after her – I’m sorry!

From across the other side of the room Dan and Serena witness the whole
thing
D- Who do your Marafiki think they are? No matter how hard me and Vanessa
try they still treat us like crap.
S- That’s not fair
D- I’ll tell wewe what’s not fair. Just because we don’t come from wealthy
backgrounds and live in the Upper East Side, Travelling around in chauffeur
driven limo’s, YOUR Marafiki think that’s enough reason to treat us like we’re
dirt they just stepped in.
S- Dan your being unreasonable, the only person in the wrong in that situation
was Nate, Blair pushed him away and Chuck well I don’t really know what’s
going on with that but maybe he was defending Blair and Vanessa.
D- Yeah well it’s like the icing on the cake, I mean even after wewe accepted me,
Blair and Chuck still couldn’t
S- Accepted you? What was there to accept Dan, your just like everyone else...
D- That’s my point. I am like everyone else, both me and Vanessa are and yet
Queen B and King Basstard treat us like lowly servants au something.
S- Yeah well my point is, I thought wewe were better than everyone else and yet
here wewe are slating my best Marafiki and making me out to be someone who
thinks herself to high and mighty for the likes of you, yet here I am dating wewe
because like I alisema I thought wewe were different. I don’t get why your focusing
on Blair and Chuck when Nate is the one in the wrong, Nate is the one who just
cheated on your best friend right in front of her eyes.
D- I don’t get why your sticking up for any of them.
S- They are my best friends, we’ve been through everything together Dan.
D- Well wewe are the one who would know about Nate and Cheating right??
Serena wells up, did Dan really just say that to her?
D- I’m going to find Vanessa...
And know he was just going to walk away from her, just like that. A tear slid
down S’s face, while Dan walked away and left the room in the direction
Vanessa had just left in.
S breathed in deep and wiped the tears from her eyes. Then she walked over
to where Nate was sitting with his head in his hands.

Meanwhile Chuck and Blair are outside. Blair is leaning with her back
against the ukuta and Chuck is leaning on the ukuta with one hand either
side of Blair. When she had been walking away from him he had slammed
his arm against the ukuta to stop her and when she turned round he put his
other arm on the other side and now she was trapped, but he had to stop
her in her tracks.
B- Look Chuck I can fight my own battles okay?
C- I saw that.... I was proud of you
B- Yeah I know I probably should have done something more... Wait, what,
wewe were what?
C- Proud of you, I was proud of you. Nate’s such an ass... especially as I had
just told him like 3 dakika earlier that I...
Chuck stopped himself, was he really about to say that?
B- That wewe what? ... Chuck? What is it??
Chuck looks to the floor and then looks up and stares deep into Blair’s eyes,
there it was again, the fluttering feeling in his stomach, the increased moyo
rate. He breathes in deep!
C- That I upendo you!
Blair gawps at C
C- Blair?? ......... Blair??
Blair stares at Chuck mouth agape
C- Hello? Earth to Bla...
Blair stops him mid sentence as she kisses him firmly but passionately on the lips

Serena decides to talk to Nate
S- What did wewe think wewe were doing?
N- Don’t start with me S, things are already messed up enough as it is!
S- Don’t expect me to feel sorry for wewe Nate Archibald
N- wewe know what Serena, I thought wewe of all people, after all the things
you’ve done, I thought at least wewe would give me the chance to explain.
S- don’t guilt trip me Nate, because of wewe me and Dan just had a major
bust up and I don’t think it’s the kind we’re going to get through easy.
N- because of me? Maybe if our so called ‘best friends’ would let us know
what was going on once in a while none of this would have happened.
S- What are wewe talking about?
N- (Sighs) Blair and Chuck, did wewe know they were in love??
S- Stop talking shit Nate, chuck was Blair's drunken mistake and Chuck,
the ladies man, in love? I doubt it Nate.
N- see so wewe didn’t know? (looks smug) that’s what I’m talking about.
S- well even if it is true that’s still no reason to cheat on your girlfriend
right in front of her.
N- yeah well Chuck’s confession threw me, I had to see that I wasn’t still
in upendo with Blair
S- wewe were never in upendo with Blair, what wewe really mean is that wewe had
to check she still loved you, because if wewe can’t have her wewe don’t want
anyone to, am I right?
N- No! Who do wewe think wewe are Serena? Blair and Chuck have fucked
up both of our lives and here wewe are blaming me. I was looking out for
her, I didn’t want her making a huge mistake that’s gonna cost her...
her heart! Shit, she’s so fucking ungrateful, such a fucking stuck up bitch.

Nate screams this last part and the whole room goes silent and stares
at him
S- Okay shows over everyone! Come on Nate let’s get out of here.
Serena leads Nate out of the room. In the corridoor:
S- Nate wewe need to CALM down.
N- I don’t want to calm down, S, this is so fucking ridiculous, can’t they
see that they’re gonna ruin each other’s lives
Did S agree? She couldn’t decide, maybe N was right, If it wasn’t for Blair
and Chuck this wouldn’t have happened with her and Dan, and she knew
Chuck wasn’t a one woman guy, maybe they would ruin each other.
Nate watched Serena, he could see he was playing with her mind, getting
her round to his thinking, this was exactly what he wanted.
S- Let’s get some fresh air, then we can talk about what to do next.
Serena and Nate walk outside to see Chuck and Blair kissing against the
wall. Before Serena can grab hold of Nate he jumps down the steps and
launches himself at Chuck dragging him off of Blair
B- Nate!!! Get off of him, your going to hurt him!
N- And?
Nate looks at Blair, still holding onto Chuck. Chuck takes the opportunity
and swirls Nate around slamming him against the wall.
C- Nathaniel my man! Don’t ever touch me again, au I swear I will hurt you,
if wewe come anywhere near me.... zaidi importantly if wewe come anywhere
near Blair I will rip your fucking head off.
Nate looks to Blair
N- can’t wewe see he’s going to break wewe heart
Blair looks back at Nate with tears in her eyes
B- No, wewe did that already. Chuck is my chance to rebuild it again.
C- wewe heard the lady, now stay out of our business.
Serena rushes over to Nate
S– get off him Chuck, come on Nate let’s get out of here
Chuck lets go and Serena pulls Nate away and they rush off together
B- Serena?... Serena!!!
C- your making a huge mistake going with him Serena!
C to B- oh well they’re not our problem anymore
Chuck starts kissing B passionately on the lips and then kisses her neck....
Blair looks after Serena with fear in her eyes
