If Ichigo's mom had brown hair and his dad has black hair where did he get his machungwa, chungwa hair from?

well i think its just part of his character but it could be from a great grandparent, a trait that been pass on to him.

Because, with genetics, when wewe get a kuvuka, msalaba between a colour like brown and a colour like black, the recessive trait for their hair colour will be black and orange, because the two are recessive traits, while brown is a dominant trait of hair colour... The machungwa, chungwa colour would come from a mixture between the brown and black. At least, I'm certain that's how it occurred... However, I'd rather not do research into genetics and hair colour, just for a Bleach question...

could be a genetic mutation au that the hair color has skipped a generation because it's recessive and not dominant.

i dnt think masaki's hair is brown colour.............and the sides.............yuzu have machungwa, chungwa hair tooooo.............its a genetic factor i guess.................

Well, I have a theory:
In the book, Ichigos mom was attacked kwa a hollow before she got pregnant with Ichigo, right?
The Hollow´s mask was white (as usual), his clothing was black - and his hair was bright. (due to all manga being uncoloured)
But such is Ichigos hair in the vitabu - possible the Holow that attacked his Mom had machungwa, chungwa hair...
