I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Stella McCartney and Cara Delevingne for Breast Cancer Awareness mwezi
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Stella McCartney is a staunch supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness month, which takes place annually in October. It’s a cause close to her heart; her mother, Linda McCartney, passed away from the disease in 1998.
Last year she enlisted friend and model Kate Moss to showcase a lingerie set specially designed to raise money for the cause, and this year she’s turned to an as equally as famous and pretty face – Cara Delevingne.
The bushy-browed model poses in the hot pink Alina Playing set, a percentage of the profits from which will be donated to the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool, UK, the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the US and the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Australia to support their work in providing the most advanced early detection programmes and treatments for patients with breast cancer.
“Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women all over the world. While most people are aware of the terrible disease, many forget to take the steps to make the effort to detect it at its early stages, so I designed a set to remind women to consider their health and visit their doctor regularly,” says McCartney.
Of her choice of model, the designer commented that it was Delevingne’s tender age that made her an appealing poster girl for the campaign.
“We were so thrilled when Cara said yes to this project because she represents a generation of young women that we are really trying to reach and catch the attention of. Cara also brings a level of coolness to the campaign; so there is no taboo, no shame involved,” she commented.
The Alina Playing set – which has the option of a soft cup or balconette bra - will be available starting October 1 online at
stellamccartney.com, Stella McCartney stores and select department and specialty stores worldwide at prices ranging from £35 for the bikini brief to £65 for the balconette and soft cup bras.
