Cus they were considering ending the engagement due to Cameron asking Chase for sperm as kind of a pre-nup in case things didn't work out. And she still has her dead husband's saved too. But Chase realized it's not her thinking they wouldn't stay together, she was scared to give up something of her husband and wanted something of his in case something happens to him. Hope wewe saw the episode cus I don't want to ruin what happens!!
