Can anyone give me some tips on creative writing?

This one is really important: don't try! When wewe aren't naturally inspired, and wewe force it, it isn't very good as it could be had wewe been naturally inspired.

This goes back to the first one: get inspired! Whatever wewe want; it can be a song, a movie, nature, a picture, au anything wewe ever wonder about au think is cool. All of my best ideas come from just letting my mind wonder.

This doesn't apply to everyone, only certain people: (if wewe have a HUGE imagination) give a good idea (for a story) about a week to float in your head before wewe decide wewe want to write it. Sometimes, I jumpstart thinking that the sooner I write it, the better. At first, I thought it was a good idea, but then after a few weeks, I looked at it and alisema "This isn't interesting at all! Why did I want to write this again?"

This one goes against the previous: if an idea gets started and wewe have a burning desire to write it now, then write it. My current story broke that rule; I alisema to myself "Remember the 'one week' rule" but that couldn't last zaidi than three days.

This one is important as well: NEVER your story, plot, characters, ect. Add to it along the way; don't think that whatever wewe have in your head at that exact moment is what wewe have to stick with. There are plot holes in my rough draft ideas most of the time. Always keep your mind open.

This one I have trouble with: don't worry about who's going to read it, upendo it, hate it, au whatever; just write it! I spend so much time worrying about which shelf my stories are supposed to go on that it delays my writing. Just write it and worry about the rest later.

This is how I write, but my brain is hardwired like no othe rhuman being's so for some my advice might be a big no-no.
1) Characters are the sekunde msot important thing in your story, after the plot. Deicde before wewe write
a name (first and last, middle if wewe wish)
b appearence. This is not just the hair and eyes and size. Think eyebrows, ears, fingers, EVERYTHING
c Background! if they are sick, are allergic to dairy au peanuts, have a handicap au a family worth signaling (mom is a celebrity, dad is dead ect...) Where do they come from? are they immigrants? Anything traumatising ever happen to her?
d personality. Are they intelligent, stupid, beautiful, ugly, strong, weak, emotional, strong ect. This also includes their inayopendelewa color, movie, obsesison, chakula ect. And the clothes they wear. Goth, tomboy, girly girl...

2) The plot is the most important thing!
A plot idea comes to wewe naturally. Just make sure it isn't something used already. I once had an idea of a wizarding world, where only wizards could practise magic, but then my heroine shows talent for magic and would be the first girl accepted in the wizard school. Harry Potter much?

3) Don't overdo it. A poetic description is nice, but if wewe use too many words it just gets your reader confused. Too many poetry in a book can also drive soem (not all) people away.

4) Every story has lovers and hatters. If wewe get 1 bad maoni its not a reason to lock yourself in your room and refuse to eat, drink au touch a pen.

Always plan everything out. And write it all down, even the things wewe think are unimportant.
