Some Stelena mashabiki say that Elena told Damon that maybe if they had met first, she would choose him, to soften the blow of rejection. Do wewe think this is true au do wewe think that Elena actually meant what she said?

I think that when Elena sees she met Damon first, she won't choose him just because she met him first. That would be bullshit (not to mention how OOC for Elena that would be...)!

The way I took it, was that Elena meant that if she actually knew (not 'met') Damon first, then she probably would have chosen him. She just chose Stefan because she was afraid to jump in the deep. She wanted something she already knew what it meant (a relationship with Stefan). Obviously, their relationship will never be the same xD

That flashback was just a moment of irony, not one of great importance to her choice. Ofcourse, it will affect the way she sees Damon, bit it will not change her choice to be with Stefan right now.

Elena meant it, but not like that. IMO she meant if I fell for wewe and had a chance with wewe before knowing Stefan, wewe might have been my choice now. But knowing that she is too attached to Stefan that she can't let go yet is because she knows what it's like to be with him. She doesn't know that with Damon.
But, even if the flashback doesn't change Elena's choice at the moment it will change her understanding of Damon.
I don't think it's a race that whoever met the girl first is gonna win the game and get the girl.

Her saying "Maybe if wewe and I had met first" basically meant that if she'd never met Stefan then she would have chosen Damon. I personally think after that finale that Elena feels obliged to be with Stefan and wewe can see that from the way she alisema this. The Stelena mashabiki that alisema this are just jealous that we have a far zaidi interesting and passionate couple to ship than they do, and if anything the finale showed us that Delena are endgame :)

There is absolutely no way the writers would let Elena say that and then onyesha us that they actually did meet first, for no reason. wewe can tell those Stelena fans, with my greetings, that they can stick it up their ass.

I think SE mashabiki are lying to themselves because they don't want to see the truth. Elena is always honest with Damon (sometimes painfully so). I think what she was saying is that she loves Damon and if their timing had been different, then they would be together. If Elena's parents hadn't died in the accident, if their car had never gone off the bridge, if Stefan hadn't rescued her and she didn't feel she had to choose him because they met at a time when she needed someone...then she and Damon could have been together.

I think they are right, but as soon as TVD returns Elena will feel the burn. She will remember what she told Damon to easily and with the wrong intensions, and she will also remember how attracted she was to him in the sekunde she met him. That`s what Damon remembered as he began fighting back Alaric. He remembered what happend between them and the little flirty talk. Their was something between them from the moment they met. And now that she will become a vampire all feelings will be magnified..So, also that i`m not happy with the end of season 3 it`s time for Elena to pine for Damon. Ian told in an interview that Damon will try to songesha an and live his life. He learned a few things in the past. Pining without hope is not longer his attitude and this was teached kwa Katherine and Elena. God, so stupid for an 18year old. When i get such a kiss on a balcony i won`t be able to play save. I really like Stefan but the way Elena gazed at Damon in the motel room told me everything. She never looked at anybody else like this, It was like that she allowed herself to see Damon in all of his beauty. Wonderful. And this kiss, and than , no "thanks" it`s Stefan.

I Think That She Is Telling Damon what She Meant And She Really Meant What She alisema Because She Loves Damon And Stephen But She Met Stephen First.... If She Met Damon First And She Could Remember That Moment She Would Have Chose Damon. And They Did Meet First It Showed It. It Showed Elena Meeting Stephen First At The Car Crash But Way Before The Car Crash Elena Met Damon, So She Meant It And Elena Met Damon Before Stephen So Stephen Needs To Stay Out Of Elena's Life And Stop Worrying About Her Because She's With Damon Now And If He Wants Her He Needs To Just Get Out Of Her Life Because What Damon And Elena Have Together Is Imposable To Break Apart What They Have Is True Love!!! And Also Damon alisema He Would Give Her PASSION,ADVENTURE,AND A LITTLE DANGER In Her Life And That's How She Wants And Thats How She Got It
