Sorry it's long. I have a lot of beliefs about these three to respond to! May get preachy!

I really hate all the hate the old princesses get, especially Snow White. She has a lot zaidi personality than she is aliyopewa credit for (more than many of the hivi karibuni heroines have, too). she’s got a sassy sense of humor, she’s unbelievably emotionally strong despite the horrible abuse and near murder she went through twice (the victim blaming she and cinderella get is rather disgusting and hypocritical), she never gave up hope about meeting her upendo again, she didn’t need to run around chasing boys like a desperate fool, she was confident enough (in herself, her prince, and their love) and wise enough to know he should come to her, and would- and did! I could go on. I really can't stop imba her praises.

Not to mention, I think it’s cute that she’s actually a smart little businesswoman. She ran that house like a boss. She was naive, but not enough to think the dwarfs would just let her stay for free (although I’m positive all but Grumpy would’ve happily let her). She noticed they were poor housekeepers, and as she was a talented one, so using the sense she supposedly lacks, she offered to be their maid and cook in exchange for shelter and safety (come on, what do wewe think she’s gonna do? work in the mines, where she’d just get in the way? sit around doing nothing and get rightfully called a lazy ingrate?). She showed good organizational skills when assigning the critters to their tasks and quite like like a mother, told the dwarfs to wash up. Who wants slobs at the table? Just because she works for them doesn’t mean they need to forget their manners. I don't see why Belle au jimmy, hunitumia are wonderful for standing up to the Beast (who Belle knew wouldn't harm her) and Jafar (at first anyway, jimmy, hunitumia had complete power over him) but Snow White is a brat for telling the dwarfs what to do.

The people who accuse her, Cindy, and Aurora of being “passive” and never doing anything but “sitting around” waiting for their guys- uhhh, no, wewe should really watch their sinema before blindly repeating what all their haters regurgitate. If you’d see them, you’d realize not a single one of the heroines of any era “sits” around. Two were under spells and thus, physically unable to save themselves. They have pretty dang good excuses.

cinderella represents hope, that kwa waiting bad things out, staying strong, good things will reward you. Not to mention she would be an idiot for trying to run away- to what? Seriously I honestly would upendo to know what people who bash cinderella for doing the smart thing- staying- would rather she do. Please, speak up! Would wewe have her become a whore? jiunge a dangerous, backbreaking sweatshop? Do wewe guys forget they were NO women's shelters au abuse hotlines back then? Women were nearly powerless. Stop judging them as modern people- they are NOT MODERN. Their sinema about the stories, themselves, and their reactions, NOT their adventures au action. Anyway, as Disney himself said, she wanted the prince, so she went to the ngome and got him. No waiting here. He didn't rescue her, either, au even come find her himself. Of all the girls that get bashed, I am stupefied kwa the amount of hate cinderella gets. Really, she's like THE perfect role model in every way. She and Belle are somewhat similar, so why is Belle seen as strong and feminist and cinderella not?

And Aurora? Please. That girl’s birthday was ruined, she found out the man she liked couldn’t be with her, and the enormous responsibility of monarch was forced upon her. Did she throw a fit like Merida and refuse to accept her responsibility? No. Did she selfishly run away from her problems to pursue her own desires like Ariel and Jasmine? No. (And I’m not condemning them, just pointing out they did bad things too yet get little to no criticism for it, and when they do get fiercely defended.) SHE WENT UP TO THAT ngome CRUSHED AS SHE WAS AND PUT DUTY OVER DESIRE. That takes an amazingly strong woman. I don’t know if I would be strong enough to do that, myself.

Besides, what is so horrible about being passive? wewe have to be sometimes, like in bad situations where suddenly making a bad songesha is pretty dumb. They weren’t passive anyway; people today (especially younger people) are just too rebellious, self-centered, and can’t stand seeing others being stronger than they are, taking abuse but never giving it back, seeing women properly use their gentleness as a strength.

And why exactly are the newer princesses brave for doing reckless things, yet Snow White is stupid, a moron, has no common sense, is an idiot, when she takes the apple? Rapunzel went off with a stranger and befriended dangerous thugs. Belle (you know, the supposedly "intelligent" one) went into the west wing where Heaven knows what sort of danger might have waited for her. jimmy, hunitumia ran away from nyumbani with no money and went to a stranger's house ALONE (if that isn't the equivalent au worse to what Snow White did I donno what is). Mulan endangered her whole family as well as herself kwa disguising as a boy and running off to war to do something that in all likelihood would probably not work (luckily it did). Pocahontas, LIKE AURORA AND SNOW, was told specifically to stay away from the strangers, but no, she's too interested (this is the "wise" one, too), even when John clearly does not look peaceful and friendly when he aims his gun at her (and yeah, the cliff thing).

I don't think I even need to go into Ariel's territory, lol, just that her foolish behavior is defending to death. She "acts like a teenager"! Okay? That's an excuse? Well, guess what? She's older and knows better than Snow White, isn't sheltered like her, so what is her excuse? wewe can only use "SHE'S JUST A KID, LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" as a a valid argument for so long. Snow White and Aurora act like teenagers but no, they're simply idiots. Disney shabiki double standards!

Anyway, why so much hate for Snow doing what she is good at (ie housekeeping)? When a woman chooses to be a professional maid au cook au daycare teacher she is making a choice like radical feminists say they want for women, yet when a woman chooses to do that for her own family (in Snow’s case, it was kind of both a professional job as well as for family), she is anti-feminist, weak, a doormat, etc. Such irrational hypocrisy and double standards! Really, she was a resourceful organizer, a business-savvy girl, and an enticing chef. What’s horrible about being good at cleaning? I wish I myself was that good. I barely have energy and patience to pick up my shoes after work. Is it "empowering" and progressive to live in squalor? What is so horrifying about living for others rather than the self?

Overall, I think it’s interesting that Snow White seems to be the kind of person people either upendo au hate. Barely ever any neutral opinions. She’s such an ikoni of feminine beauty, optimism, traditional womanhood, everything that stands in stark contrast with everything our rebellious, me-first culture holds dear. Today, if wewe don’t act like a man with boobs, wewe are weak and unworthy of respect. If wewe respond to abuse with gracious love, wewe are a doormat. If wewe take care of a family au pursue traditionally feminine activities, wewe set feminism back 100 years and deserve no less than scorn. This totally defeats the purpose of real feminism, the kind our (Christian, I might add) foremothers in women’s rights wanted. It’s even against sekunde wave feminism. Do any of wewe who hold this belief realize how incredibly sexist and anti-women it is? It is also sexist to men to imply their help is offensive and degrading to women but the other way around, is good.

Frankly, I wish zaidi women weren’t so afraid to be feminine anymore au uigizaji so threatened kwa traditional femininity (and for that matter, traditional manhood and chivalry), that we’d all try to have zaidi grace and forgiveness and patience like the original heroines, who are, sadly, far better than they are ever aliyopewa credit for. Their kind of humble attitudes strike our culture in the face; it does not know what to make of those with servants’ hearts. People who see modest, gentle women and insult them are losers. Not in the “HAHA LOSER FAIL” sense, but in the sense that they see they are not strong enough to try to succeed and become better people than they are, and mock people who do try. It’s “too hard” for them, so they try to drag down the winners to their level. Hey, misery loves company!

I hope this helps au at least comforts fellow Snow White fans, au anyone who likes the old girls au relates to them more. I truly wish they made ‘em like they used to (Eilonwy and Jane Porter are pretty good ones, though.) Lots of these points were borrowed au inspired kwa waltdisneyconfessions au an interesting thread on the SWAT7D board at imdb.com.

I feel like I don't write enough makala on here. *cough* Lemme rephrase that, I don't write enough serious makala on here. XD I just upendo writing, and just felt like uandishi about each princess. So, I'm going to do a little series makala about my opinion on each DP, in order from my least inayopendelewa to favorite. So, aye, here we go. c:

My Original Thoughts
The first time watching the movie was when I was a child, and I only remembered bits and pieces, so let's start from when I first remember watching Cinderella, about five years ago.

I admired Cindy for being wishful, hopeful, etc. When I...

In this makala I'll talk about my inayopendelewa song in each Disney Princess movie, because I've seen makala like that before and I think it's a very cool idea. Enjoy :)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: With a Smile and a Song

I think this song showcases Snow White's optimism and philosophy of life (that you're "the one who can fill the wolrd with sunshine") very well, and it has a lovely tune and poetic lyrics.

There's no use in grumbling/When raindrops come tumbling/Remember you're the one/Who can fill the wolrd with sunshine

Okay, so we've literally been working on this collab for zaidi than four months, so all of our lists are super outdated, but Macy made such incredible pictures that we couldn't just give up on this! So yeah, I hope wewe enjoy kusoma this and all picture creds go to the incredible MacytheStrange. It was super fun doing this with both wewe and Prussia :)

13. Ariel

dclairmont: There are points in the movie I think she can look beautiful, namely during "Part of Your World", but other times, she can look poorly animated and I bit ditzy. Also, I prefer Merida's hair color. Ariel's hair looks zaidi artificial....

The strangely creative ikoni that MacytheStrange made for Team Tiana.
The strangely creative icon that MacytheStrange made for Team Tiana.
At first, there was Disney. At their time, the classics; Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora have been immesnely maarufu in their times. Then the renaissance princesses came; Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Pocahontas. In later years, the unique and intelligent Mulan has also joined. But before Tangled, Brave, and the most popular: Frozen... there was one film which after 20 years, brought back magic, family, and the true vision of the later Walt Disney Animated Studios company. The Princess and the Frog graced the silver screen, and Tiana won dhahabu in our hearts. The bumblebees of Team Tiana present...

 She stands out, doesn't she?
She stands out, doesn't she?
Belle is my inayopendelewa princess! Well, her and cinderella are battling to the death for my #1 spot; Anyway I hope to do this with all of the princesses, Belle is the sekunde princess I've wrote an makala on, I just recently did one about Mulan :D *dwarf voice* Yes, recently. With out further introduction here are the reasons I upendo Belle.

The first couple of scenes of the movie, we could see her talking enthusiastically to the baker about a story she just read. Then, she proceeded to go to the bookstore and got a book that she read all the way to her home. Now, this gave positive remark to all...

I upendo Snow White because she doesn't let the hardships get to her and keep a positive outlook. She believes that wewe are the one who can "fill the word with sunshine", you're the one with the power to make yourself happy. She is sweet and gentle, but can be energetic and firm when needed to be. She feels the need to be loved. That shows the abuse took...

This makala is a ranking of the 11 Disney princess films not the princesses from worst to best. I must clarify that I don't think that any Disney princess film is bad but some are definitely better than others. It is completely my opinion. Share yours in the comments.

11. The Princess and the Frog
I was excited for this film because it seemed like a return to form for Disney after a fairly lackluster and forgettable post-renaissance period but sadly I was disappointed kwa it. The uhuishaji was great and the story was interesting but it could have been so much better. I admit it was better than...

 My current ikoni
My current icon
hujambo guys :) I've been active on this spot for a while so I thought I should write an article. I decided to start with this since everyone wrote these kind of articles.

Basic Info:
My name is Dania Murad and I was born on November 23, 1999. I am 14 years old. Currently, I live in Canada with my parents and my 8 year-old sister.

My inayopendelewa Disney things:
If wewe didn't know, I really upendo Frozen. It's my inayopendelewa movie and it has my inayopendelewa Disney Princess (Elsa) and it's high on most of my lists, but it's not always first. I also really upendo Tangled, Brave and PatF. So basically all the modern...

To start Mary-Sue is thrown around not only on the Disney Princess club, but almost everywhere whenever it comes down to the Disney Princesses. The correct definition to Mary-Sue is a perfect female character who doesn't try to be perfect, but naturally is. Like a Renaissance Man, yet doesn't fail at least while trying.
Some have been saying Classics, au Walt Disney's princesses, Belle and Rapunzel are Mary-Sues, plus more. I very much disagree.

The most common areas to be considered Mary-Sues are:
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel (on the occasion)
Belle
Rapunzel

There are so many reasons they...

It looks like everybody has done a orodha with the favourites scenes so I decided to make one too. I haven't included Frozen because there are still many people that haven't seen it. Anyway, enjoy!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Ending Scene

I'm not sure about my choice because the last time I saw the movie I was 6 years old, so... Anyway, the uhuishaji is stunning when they walk away and wewe see the castle. I find that scene very romantic and sweet and I believe that Snow White totally deserves her happy ending.

Cinderella
So this is love

Soo romantic! I upendo the uhuishaji and the atmosphere...

As I was creating my ikoni for Team Merida, I realised exactly why I loved this girl. As a result, I decided to write an makala with 5 reasons why everybody should upendo Merida/Brave

1. Brave was the first Pixar film that had a female protagonist.

Pixar is a hugely successful company, but it took about 8 years since they first started making films for them to make a movie where the main character was a girl. Before Brave was made, I was slightly annoyed at Pixar - most of it's films didn't even pass the Bechdel test. I upendo Brave because it finally featured an awesome female character.

What do wewe mean it took 8 years to have a female protagonist? That's so dumb!
What...
