Chapter 1
Lilly never had trouble sleeping; with the exception of last night. It was her last night in her bedroom. The inayofuata morning she was bound for New York City. Her once lovely decorated bedroom was empty. All of her possessions were packed up and in her Aunt Janes SUV. After tossing and turning for a couple of hours, Lilly got out of kitanda and went downstairs to make some coffee. Her stomach was full of butterflies. Her life long dream of becoming a Doctor was coming true. In a few hours she would be on the interstate, heading down the road to her future.
Before she knew it, two weeks had already come and gone. She was settled into a closet sized apartment with three other roommates, and just finished her first week of classes. It was extremely overwhelming, but she liked a challenge. Everything seemed like it was perfectly falling into place; except for this guy in a couple of her classes. The very first day, he wouldn't stop staring at her. The sekunde day, he was bold enough to ask her for her number, but she told him she didn't have a phone. Of course at that very moment, her cell rang. He laughed, and told her that he would just try harder, and that eventually she would give in, because "no one can resist Conner Dawson". His arrogance astounded her. She had never disliked someone so much. What made her even angrier was that she couldn't stop thinking about him.
