And since the background image is stopping nearly in the middle of the spot it's pointless too.

I can't vote. I have four gold to my name. Some users have none, btw. And it sucks that everything is "contingent" upon you having enough gold to do something critical on here--- like vote for a club background, icon, or banner. Fanpop really screwed me over. And a bunch of other people.

Still doesn´t work. It takes you straight to the percent/already voted screen and even if you click "Make your pick" it doesnt work.

It's too busy and lags A TON. I was interested in a change, but like Tiffany said, the background will stop in the middle of the spot a lot which is really annoying.

@cruella: The fans 95% unsatisfied with the ugly and distracting half-castle background.

The current one is too busy, but the old white is just BORING! We need a change but going back to white is just being stuck in old ways. I think this would work great!

And your image is too small. "images 1280px wide or larger."

That could be just a glitch. On the Once Upon A Time club with the new background and bottom half is black, which blends better with the background. So I think just messaging Fanpop about it is the best choice. Besides, I also think having the castle background happen was for the best. I personally like the look, but I do admit it's too busy. But now we know how it looks and we can from now on know to pick simpler backgrounds and consider this a lesson learned for those (including me) who voted for the castle.

I really like the idea of a light-colored background like this.

I keep getting the message "You do not have permission to vote in this election yet. You must have more than 100 lifetime gold or a medal in this club to participate. Learn more about Gold." when I try to vote. :/
But if I could vote, I would pick the pink background.

I can't vote either because of the gold issue. I like the castle background.

tiffany88: you can vote for free because you have a medal in this club, others should pay unless they have a medal. But it's very cheap, only 5 gold points, if they contribute like 5 images they will get the gold.

Ugh, just stop playing with a club's images, please. Fanpop's system seems to be not fixed yet. All clubs that have background images are half-done, I say. See Star Wars, OUAT, or Disney club. According to my observation, if the background image is light, the half part is white. And if the background image is dark, the half is black. Hahahaha! I should have seen this coming! Fanpop frequently fails! Fantastically. XP

Fanpop now sucks a whole lot...and everything used to be geared toward participation from all, not discouraging participation.

I actually loves the pink background too, although the white one is still better. I don't mind if finally we have to used background or not, but if peoples here wanted to do they must be used simple background with only a bit patterns.

Let's start for something new, please.
