The ornament itself is pretty, but I don't get why they chose this moment. The iconic Part of Your World pose would be better imo.

I love Disney ornaments and every year the Disney Store releases their signature sketchbook ornaments. This year, there was a special line called Fairytale Moments featuring the official 12 princesses as well as Anna and Elsa. I thought to countdown the days before Christmas, it would be fun if we all pick our favorite/least favorite ornaments and see which ones the community likes best! Anna and Elsa's inclusions mean that it doesn't quite fit the 12 Days of Christmas theme but oh well, I didn't want to exclude them.

Anyway the ornament I like least would be Belle's. It's just really cheap looking with that sparkly cloth material for the skirt (which Disney Store normally saves for their non-sketchbook ornaments). The colors of the pillars are also too bright for my taste and overall the ornament looks gaudy and not as polished as the rest of them.

^^they've done the Part of Your World pose for Ariel before and it was a singing ornament. In fact, Ariel probably has the most Sketchbook ornaments and they're all typically of her as a mermaid on a rock (either POYW or POYW reprise). So this one of Ariel is actually quite unique for her.

This was difficult to pick because I really love all the ornaments that came out this year. I like going to my Disney Store and getting pictures of them. <3

I think there were better options for her ornament

I like the Ariel ornament, because they ALWAYS have her as a mermaid, which Ariel DIDN'T WANT TO BE. I LOVE this one, because she's NOT a mermaid!!!! This one is SO COOL for not being the same old same old derivative, which she looks like every single time they produce an ornament with her--- unless they stick her in that simply AWFUL green dress, which is nowhere in her movie.

UGH. Enough with this promotion for her. Tiana doesn't need anymore bags, notebooks, stencils, dolls, games, backpacks, erasers, puzzles, and pure miscellaneous stuff with her on it. Tiana gets more promotion than even Jasmine does!

Also not impressed with Belle's.

In my country, the Chinese do not celebrate Christmas. I also do not think women dressed in drag makes sense for Christmas, more like Halloween.

I like the Ariel one, it's perfect as a Christmas scene. Sitting on her bed waiting for presents to open. Not everybody has the same traditions. Some people open their presents sitting up on or in their beds in the morning of Christmas Day.

This doesn't make me say "pretty" - it's plain.

I think all of these ornaments' designs are lovely, so choosing the worse was a bit of a challenge. I ultimately chose this one because, as EmaSomolanyiova said, I think they could have chosen a better/more iconic scene.

I didn't even know where to begin because there are several ornaments here that I haven't even seen the films of. I'm going to go with Mulan (although I have seen that) because it's so dark and gray and I don't think that suits ornaments.

This one's kinda plain looking and I don't care much for Olaf. Some of the princess' expressions look a little off, as well.

Jasmine's and Cinderella's are my favorites probably. :)

The others are nicer.

Also, what? Jasmine definitely gets more merch. Some items she gets all to herself like Cinderella, Belle and Ariel do. Tiana has been getting put on group merch more but definitely not more than Jasmine. What has that even got to do with anything?

@AudreyFreak: Maybe where I am, Tiana gets more, and Jasmine gets less. That's what I've seen.

Black folks be so tired of seeing this racist portrayal of our people. Da Frog Princess. Bitch, why white folks get their Snow Whites and Sleeping Beauties and we get a frog princess like she got genital herpes. Disney got another Song of the South on their hands and they need to erase her.

@wavesurf - Tiana still gets included in group shots, but she's probably the least popular princess besides Pocahontas. Jasmine is a lot more popular than her especially since I've seen collectible and limited merchandise of the first six princesses and Rapunzel sell out, whereas Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tiana merchandise is always left.
