Aurora does nothing for herself, while Mulan goes out and kicks ass, not to mention save an entire country.

She's nothing like Ariel Ariel's heroic, stronger, prettier, smarter, and a tomboy while Aurora is smart and gorgeous she's girly, weak, and a damsel in distress

@KataraLover Just because Aurora's a damsel in distress, it doesn't mean she's weak. She simply had no choice but to be a damsel in distress, Maleficent hypnotized her. For all we know Aurora could've tried to save herself if she wasn't in a trance. Also, being girly isn't a bad thing, I hate how people usually say it as if it's a negative trait -_-

Absolutely opposite heroines!
I think Mulan and Aurora have at least similar determination in common. Sure they are not that similar, so I can see why they're on the lead, but I think Belle and Ariel have nothing in common at all.

They're complete opposites. Aurora is very girly and would never be able to put up with fighting and saving her country. Mulan is a total tomboy, and there's no way she can be like Aurora.

I would say these two. Mulan is much braver. Snow White freaked out by just walking through a forest. I'd hate to see how she'd react to the huns!!

How is Ariel not a tomboy? I don't mean girly as a bad thing it's just tomboys and girly girls are completely different. Mulan is definatly the biggest tomboy of them all and most of the idsney princesses act like tomboys.

^Really? I have to disagree. I think Ariel is very girly. She likes to bathe, brush her hair, dress up, dance, the only tomboy like thing she does is rescue Eric I would think.

^^ Well, I must've misunderstood. When you said "While Aurora is smart and gorgeous, she's....." I took that as meaning that "She may have good qualities, but here are her bad qualities" Sorry :( It just seems like girly is often thought of the negative out of girly and tomboy, even though there's nothing wrong with either of them. I agree with DreamyGal about Ariel being girly, though.
