Havin' a bad day... I don't what it is, but I'm feelin' a lot down today... :/ wewe know the feeling that wewe see all of these poeple, laughing, having fun, know each other well..? That's kind of how I feel when I'm here on the DP Spot... :/ Maybe it's because I'm not so much on here as I'm most @ the Walt Disney Characters Spot. I have a few Marafiki here I feel close to, but that's that. I guess I feel a little left out sometimes. Odd, really. But hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.

I know the feeling, but it's what I feel in school rather than in Fanpop. I have a few close Marafiki here, and some acquaintances.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Yeah, I haven't really gotten to know a lot of people on here either; I feel like they're all gonna judge me one way au another (no offense). But today a close friend let me rant to her, so now I feel good and new. :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I feel like that sometimes, because a lot of my Marafiki have become less active, one left, and the other doesn't really come on this club. :/zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Aw, I'm sorry. I know what wewe mean, actually. I'm sort of active, but I don't think I'm close to others here, at least not anymore, and I don't feel as intelligent as everyone else. I definitely think of wewe as a friend, J.J. :) I could participate zaidi in the WDC Spot. Hope wewe feel better.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I used to feel like that in school, but now it's zaidi so on fanpop. I haven't been active for the past week, but when I am on sometimes I feel a bit out of place. Don't worry about it, I know I consider wewe as a friend. wewe are one of the most unique and fun users here. I hope wewe feel better though. :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I know how you're feeling J.J. I know in the past I was part of that "clique" (Oh God, I think the word clique haunts me forever now XD), but now that a majority of my Marafiki are gone and have been "replaced" kwa new users, I often feel as if I'm on the outside looking in. It really makes me feel a bit bad for how many users used to say the same things to my Marafiki and I and I always thought they were rude for doing so, but now that I'm in the same place I can definitely see where people are coming from.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Thank wewe guys <3! I'm feeling a lot better today :) I just have to remind myself of how lucky I am, wewe know? Life might have been tough to me, but I still have Marafiki and family that loves me very much and that's all that counts :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I just had an epiphany and realized how important character development is to me when it comes to the DPs. I think some major changes to my orodha might be happening.
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
It matters a lot to me, also. Except I'm one of the few people who think Elsa and Anna have character development, haha. I'm curious (And at the same time extremely scared) what direction your orodha goes in. :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
It doesn't matter that much to me. Although I like it as much as the inayofuata person, I think character development is a bit overrated.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

All the women in that movie do. They all have the huge eyes, little faces, and tiny noses and mouths. Honey lemon, limau is just the most obvious because she's also got the long blonde hair, green eyes, and bubbly disposition. First time I saw her I thought, "There's a discount Rapunzel if I ever saw one."zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Is Honey lemon, limau Hispanic? I saw the movie on the premiere and she had that accent. au maybe it is because her voice actor is.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I just discovered two very interesting Sleeping Beauty scenes.
First, there is this one: link Here, Aurora, who was raised as a sheltered princess, disguises herself as a maidservant so she can go to a fair in town. Interesting to see such a proactive Aurora.
And there is this alternative version of "Maleficent's Evil Spell": link It's exactly like the apple scene in the Snow White.
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
^Taking an apple from an old lady because she just had a moyo attack and believing it's a wishing apple because a wishing well worked for wewe is MUCH less worse than following an eerie voice calling your name. And don't even let me get started on when she enters the room and is about to leave, but hears the voice and is, like, "Oh. That's it". She should have ran away immediately. And I didn't say Aurora was dumb in the actual movie. However, that was the notion I got from uploaded900 (that she was judging Aurora for that deleted scene), and if that's correct, I find it very unfair, since it doesn't even fit in the movie.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
^That whole deleted scene reminded me of a 50's Aladdin, that is, a movie that doesn't take itself seriously. The tai and Maleficent reminded me a LOT of Jafar and Iago.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
^*Rips hair out in frustration* You're kidding, right? wewe obviously know I was referring only to the deleted scene, right? Unless wewe mean that scene... Then I have to disagree, she's not hypnotized in the cut version.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Maybe I'm alone in this (and i've already alisema it here in a poll), but I'd upendo it if Disney made a film with the focus of it being a brother-sister relationship.
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I would upendo it too, but with the two Disney sinema about siblings (Frozen and Big Hero 6), it might seem a little bit too much to have another one with a brother-sister relationship. But then again, Disney is planning to make many sinema right now, so it would be wonderful if the movie after Giants, Moana e.t.c. gets to be about a bond between a brother and a sister.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Hm... Wasn't it released on December 11? Wikipedia says that November 25 was the Loas Angeles Premiere, but that on December 11 was the United States' release. Odd. Yesterday I watched The Croods fot the sekunde time and while I used to like it before, now I absolutely upendo it! First of all, the uhuishaji is amazing. The backgrounds are filled with strange and colorful creatures and it's all so impressive! But what I upendo most is the characters. I upendo how we have a heroine who's not beautiful, at least in a conventional way (I actually find her quite pretty and I upendo her eyes), who has a realistic, not idealized body (continues in comments)

(actually, in a moment of the movie Guy told her "Wow you're heavy!" and she answered "Really? Thank you!" )and who's way physically stronger than the guy. Eep is rebellious and badass, but without being the cliche tomboy (she's actually very girly) au a brat. Her relationship with Guy is adorable and for once it's the guy who teaches the girl a valuable lesson and not the opposite like usual. Grug is also an awesome character. wewe could see how much he loved his family and his development was very realistic. In general, I loved the relationships between all the members of the family (and Guy) and I found their interactions either very touching and sweet au hilarious (especially when it came to Grug the grandmother). I don't see people mentioning that movie a lot, in real life but also in fanpop, so I was wondering if the users here generally like it au if I'm in the minority.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I like that movie although I find it kind of weird and unrealistic. It is really interesting and the characters are a lot of fun. The uhuishaji is also quite nice, it's a shame that it isn't zaidi maarufu au well known.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I got to watch the Croods sometime! My cousin wanted to see it and I didn't mind seeing it but my sister wanted to see the Great and Powerful Oz instead so we ended up going with her suggestion.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I upendo the Croods <333 Such an under appreciated movie and the ending is absolutely phenomenal. I agree with everything wewe said, especially about Eep! She's such an incredible character. I upendo her "Really? Thank you!" response.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
When I saw the trailers for the movie, I thought it would be mediocre at best. However, when I saw the film I learned that I was completely wrong! The uhuishaji is stunning, the creatures are creative, the designs fit the movie, the characters are great, it's hilarious, the relationships are realistic and fantastic, the score is amazing, the action scenes are awesome, it has wonderful character development, it's emotional, and it's a phenomenal adventure. Finally, we get a movie that's an adventure road trip. I upendo those! I agree with wewe about Eep. I upendo how she's not traditionally pretty because if Disney had made the movie, she would look like a drop dead gorgeous, smoking hot cave girl. There is not a single character in the movie that I don't love. The two funniest characters are Sandy and the Grandmother. Guy: A pet is an animal wewe don't eat; Grandma: We call those children. LOL!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I don't get why this movie doesn't get that much attention, especially compared to films like Frozen and How To Train Your Dragon, that are cliche to a T. This film is unique in every way and, much like Rise of The Guardians, doesn't get much attention because it's apparently "too different" and all that ng'ombe crap that's unfortunately true. It's an AMAZING film!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Okay, so I got back from watching Mockingjay and it's the best Hunger Games film so far. The first film I thought was just okay and found predictable, Catching moto is when I finally started getting into the franchise and found it fantastic, and this movie is the best in the franchise. The good guys are likable, it unpredictable, dynamic, the action is great, the emotions are heartbreaking, it's suspenseful, and developed *continues to type in comments*

This is the first time EVER that I've finally become absolutely invested in Katniss and find her interesting. In the original she's dull at dirt with the personality of sandpaper, in Catching moto I did start to mildly like her but still found her boring, and in this movie I upendo her! I'm not insane about her but I'm finally fully invested in her. She's flawed, makes mistakes, will address her mistakes when everyone is trying to make her seem perfect, is one of the most badass fictional characters EVER, has some good one-liners, and I'd even go so far as to call her complex. I also upendo how, unlike with Harry Potter, she's not just put into the savior role just because the story says so and because of something to make her seem like Jesus au something. She's made the savior because she has the qualities of a leader and is what a savior should be. Jennifer Lawrence also gives an astounding performance, the best actor in the movie.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
All of the actors are fantastic, yes, even though I can't stand Liam Hemsworth, I will admit that he's a great actor. It met my high expectations and didn't disappoint.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Really? I thought this film was the weakest so far. I thought the first film was good and solid, the sekunde film was great, and this one is all right. The decision to divide the last book into two films still doesn't sit well with me. The first two films had great pacing and action since they had to get this onyesha on the road. Since the filmmakers know they have another film to fit the content, the pacing this time was - wewe guessed it - very slow and drawn out. Not as bad as other films (Harry Potter 7 Part 1 and The Hobbit "Trilogy," I'm looking at you), but it's still present.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I haven't seen it but I disliked Mockingjay very much when I read it, doesn't mean it makes a bad movie. My vipendwa are Finnick and Joanna and I know Finnicks has a great speech somewhere in this one ot sure if it's part 1 au 2 though.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I just got back from watching Big Hero 6 for a sekunde time and it was still great. I do think the humor isn't very strong and I didn't laugh very much au hard like everyone else did. The characters, except the villain, Fred, and a certain character that I won't reveal because I might "spoil" something, are really likable. My inayopendelewa is still Hiro, but I still think there isn't a point in having him wear a super-suit because he doesn't fight at all! *continues to type in comments*

The other characters fight and he doesn't! He's the brains of the team but that's it. There's no point in him having his own outfit because he doesn't have any way of fighting. What's the point? The the uhuishaji is fantastic, the emotions is incredible, and it's a fun adventure. But I think I might like it SLIGHTLY less then I originally did. But it's still better than Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen, but not better than Tangled and The Princess and The Frog. Tonight I'll always be seeing the newest Hunger Games movie, Mocking-jay Part 1. I'll let wewe guys know how that it and I have high expectations.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Unfortunately, while I like the characters, I don't think they're particularly memorable. Also, while it's a minor scene, I really wish that when the ranger went to Cody's house to tell his mother that he was presumed dead that we could have seen the mother's face. I think it could have been something really emotional like with Rapunzel's parents. There would be no works out of her in that scene but the very look at her facial expressions would make it really powerful and emotional. I also wish that we could have known what happens to the wanyama that the villain had locked up. I guess maybe the movie is slightly unfocused because wewe go between the Bernard and Bianca, Cody, McLeach, and Wilbur. But I don't think that the mice didn't get enough screentime like so many people do. I think they get a decent amount. The climax was suspenseful! Even though I know what happens, I keep on getting scared about what happens to that poor little boy.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I upendo how it's not just one character that saved the day: Bernard saves Cody, Bianca and Jake save the bird, and the bird saves Cody and Bernard. It shows that they all work great as a team. It's not one of the best Disney Renaissance films but it's better than Pocahontas and Hercules. But even then, I still ADORE it because I ADORE all of the Disney Renaissance films. It's a fantastic film and I HIGHLY recommend it if wewe haven't seen it au haven't watched it in a while.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
When I was little it was one of my favorites, in fact it was the only rescuers movie I had ever seen even still I've never seen the original. I don't know why, but the little blond boy reminded me of cinderella and I had a tiny crush on him. Besides that, the uhuishaji is incredible! Even as a kid I was blown away, but of course I went through that "Big girls don't like cartoons" phase and I threw it out. Still today I get excited when ever I hear it mentioned especially when people also consider it an underrated classic. I'm not the biggest shabiki of the Disney renaissance au Disney in general, but This movie is one of my favorites.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Not every character, whether male au female, can be waving a sword au being badass, but they have to be interesting. And Jane is interesting; she's intelligent, quirky, kind, funny, witty, awkward, clumsy, caring, and elegant. Tarzan is my inayopendelewa character in the movie. I upendo the turmoil of his character and he's kind of complex. He doesn't know what he is, man au ape. Should the movie have aliyopewa zaidi depth into that turmoil like Doug said? Well, probably but I think they did a good job with it. I do agree with Doug that Clayton is a lame villain, he's basically Gaston's even lamer uncle, except with brains. Why couldn't the leopard have been the villain? Like an awesome Shere Khan villain, that would have been awesome and maybe we would have had zaidi time to go into zaidi depth of Tarzan's turmoil and developed Tarzan and Jane's romance. The romance is good but nothing spectacular because it's kind of rushed. But overall, it's a phenomenal film!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I think this is one of Disney's best movies. It's so unique and that characters and idea of the story is just perfect, I agree with wewe on Jane. She is really unique because she is rather a Damsel in Distress but an awesome one! I disagree with wewe on Clayton though. I think he is a great villain. He is very manipulative, got his plan across really well and at the same time is very realistic.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
It's my inayopendelewa Disney movie, for those exact reasons. It'll be in my heart, no matter what they say... Sorry, I couldn't resist. Tarzan is very timeless as well as realistic, which is always a great factor to have. It also has my inayopendelewa character of all time, Jane Porter. As far as the villain goes, I think Clayton stands well all kwa himself, he's not the most original, but definitely the most realistic especially with his plan. It's not really a Governor Radcliffe au a Cornel Rouke, but the better of the "in it for the money" villains like Percival McLeach. Where they are layered as a character and it makes sense for them to act as such. Maybe I'm being bias, but I honestly don't have one complaint on Tarzan as a movie.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Unlike most people I actually like Phill Collins *cough* Nostalgia Critic. *cough* Speaking of which, he had the same complaints wewe have, which I understand, I actually would upendo to see the leopard as villain so it matches up closer to the original story, but if wewe ask me, I'd get bored of the idea eventually. I think Clayton is symbolism for Tarzan's problem with humans, seeing as in the vitabu he chooses to be human under the name, John Clayton. I think that's really smart of them to hint at that as well; Especially since it ends with the classic way everybody remembers Tarzan-- an ape-man, and turmoil made do with "Two worlds one family." Anyway, I agree with you, it has it's flaws, but it's a phenomenal film.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
*Claps like a retarded seal* I agree with CatWoman. I like the pHil Collins songs, the spectacular animation, the characters (and I'll admit, I'm with NostalGia Critic and his opinion on Jane, being a damsel in distress done right) Uh, in my book, a flawless movie! <3 Okay, Clayton isn't the best villain, but he has that death scene....wow. My inayopendelewa Disney movie.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I completely agree with _CatWoman_ and MalloMar. And people should really give an excuse at Jane for being a damsel in distress, if wewe had to live in a jungle, how would wewe act? Because I'm sure I wouldn't be very heroic... Anyway, Jane like everybody alisema is a damsel in distress done right and one of my inayopendelewa animated females. Tarzan is an amazing character, I actually upendo the romance in the movie and I adore Phil Collins' songs. Also, I really like Clayton for the reasons CatWoman stated. Tarzan is ujumla, jumla a fantastic film in my opinion, one of my Disney favorites.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
So I was watching Sleeping Beauty again (still a wonderful movie kwa the way) and I realized just how creepy Philip acts during Once Upon a Dream. Maybe it's just me, because I like to get to know someone for a bit before I let them casually touch me, but he way he kept on grabbing her arm and hand after she pulled away really creeped me out. I mean his charming and all that, but does he have to be so intrusive?

I don't like the way he grabs her either, but I think that's just him being awkward. At least he relents and lets go of her when he see that she doesn't like the foreceful contact, instead choosing to serenade her with a upendo song.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Yeah... it's way different seeing it as an adult from seeing it as a child. Especially if you're a girl with personal space issues, au know what really happens to girls who are grabbed kwa a man they don't know when they're alone in the forest in real life. I still find the scene charming, but in a "It only works here, but I would never condone it anywhere else" way.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Today I watched an underrated Disney classic, A GOOFY MOVIE! It was absolutely amazing, as always! The uhuishaji is really good, the characters are likable, the songs are fantastic, Max and Roxanne have a believable chemistry, and it's a fun road trip. It could have been longer but oh well. The best part of the film is the relationship between Goofy and Max. It's really realistic; Max wants to live his own life but Goofy also wants to be a part of his child's life *continues to type in comments*

I upendo how for once it's the child who had to learn the lesson and not the parent. wewe could argue that Goofy does learn a lesson but it's mainly Max who has to learn the lesson. It's very unique and refreshing to see. I upendo how there are some of these awkwardly quiet moments between them where they want to say something to each other but they're too awkward around each other to say it, much like Merida and Elinor in that one scene in Brave. I upendo how they can go from arguing, to awkward moment, to bonding, to fighting again, and to finally bending their bond. That's how a real parent and child relationship works! I upendo how they saved each other in the waterfall scene and when they finally hug each other and were to tears because they almost Lost each other. It's a brilliant film and among my inayopendelewa Disney movies! I HIGHLY recommend it! Plus it's HILARIOUS!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I really hope they don't add a twist that takes away from the original plot, sometimes I just want to watch Cinderella, they've already ruined Sleeping Beauty, kwa destroying the plot. I really don't want another "Oh, we're modern so no marriage for the girl, she's a "strong and independent" woman, because that hasn't been reused like a bunch of times. ujumla, jumla I'm really excited for the movie and I hope it's good.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
As wewe can tell from the trailer (and from what I've read), it's a faithful adaptation of the movie, only that the mice don't talk and they'll only have a couple of short scenes, meaning there is no plot twist, thankfully. It seems like we won't be subjected to the horror of Maleficent again. I'm realy excited for the movie, since it'll be definitely aesthetically stunning.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I'll usually like anything that has a really good soundtrack, well, almost anything (i.e. Frozen). I upendo all the songs, well, almost all of them. Don't Make Me Laugh, I like it; Misery is okay; and I really dislike Looks Like I've Got Myself A Friend. The rest I absolutely love, even if they don't transition very well. The uhuishaji is very pretty to look at, even if it is sloppy sometimes. Rocko, Marina, and the little birds are pretty likable. The rest of the characters I don't care about at all. I have to agree with Tygers_Eye that Hubbie is pretty shallow because he really only loves marina for her looks. We see why she loves him because of the song Sometimes I Wonder, but we don't see why he loves her besides her looks. I mean, I have nothing against Marina, I like her, but we don't see Hubbie get to know her at all. Plus, Hubbie is really stupid and a real dumbass in distress!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
He's not as much of a dumbass in distress for me to put him in my juu 10 biggest dumbasses in distress, but he really has to get saved constantly and only has one scene where he acts heroic. The rest of the time he has to be saved kwa Rocko. It's kind of too childish, which I'm critical about in kids films because I've been spoiled kwa Disney, which has always been able to appeal to kids and adults. So overall, not a bad film but not something I'd tell someone they'd have to see.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Different people have different tastes. I don't wanna annoy anyone with a rant, so I'll just make this as short as I can. I rewatched How To Train Your Dragon to give it another chance and see what everyone loves about it so much. And it has gone from mediocre to in my opinion awful! It's predictable, cliche, unoriginal, boring, forgettable, annoying, stereotypical, mean-spirited, rushed, undeveloped, and is overrated as hell! The only good things are the action scenes and the relationship between Hiccup and Tootless
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Also, the only decent character is Toothless, and even then I don't like him, I just don't hate au dislike him like I do the other characters. This movie is a piece of overrated crap! I'm NOT the Nostalgia Critic! I remembered it because no one gives a crap!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I don't care if it's different from a typical Disney movie. I'm very open-minded about that but the thing is that it's not the things that wewe stated they are, no offense. It's forgettable, the characters and story are cliches, boring, and forgettable. The characters are FAR from original. You've got the dork that makes something of himself, the b*tchy tough girl that's rude to the protagonist but then falls for him and becomes the bland and unnecessary upendo interest (two cliche's in one character), the closed-minded parent that gets his redemption (even though he's too despicable for me to actually care), the arguing twins, the idiot that acts tough but is really a whimp and tries to flirt with the leading lady, and the one character that's a bigger dork than the main character and is supposed to be comic relief despite not being funny. That's just that character cliche's, there are several others.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Cliche's can work in a story but they put TONS of them and make it unoriginal, predictable, forgettable, boring, and basically what we've all seen before. The sequel is a great movie, though not nearly as great as Rise of The Guardians, The Prince of Egypt, the first two Shrek movies, and so forth. Astrid and the dad do improve as a characters in the sequel, Toothless becomes zaidi charming, and the new characters are all likable. I literally didn't notice until I watched the director's commentary and they mentioned Tootiana fighting like a badass (kinda laughing that she's this sweet, motherly character, but she is brutal in battle), and I thought, "Wait, she's fighting in these scenes??!!" Okay, my rant aside, I'll talk about the movie itself. The songs are great, the transition isn't very good, but the songs themselves are still fantastic. The animation, while not the best, is still very beautiful to look at. wewe all know that I ADORE Kayley and think she's a major badass! I upendo how she doesn't start off badass because that would be unrealistic and make her look like a Mary Sue. I upendo the ogre scene where instead of using action, she uses her brains to get the ogre back to sleep. She grows and matures. I fail to see how she's a damsel in distress and I think the fact that sometimes she needs saving shows that her and the group work well with each other. There are plenty of times where she saves them. And she's the one who defeats the villain and saves Arthur Camelot, both with action and intelligence. *continues to type in comments*zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Her only real flaws from a uandishi stand point is that she could have used to zaidi kickass scenes and that she might be too much of the hardcore tomboy. But so is Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender and people upendo her. I don't dislike Garret anymore but I don't like him either. He's just okay for me. I still think the movie and Kayley would have been better if he wasn't in the movie. Then the writers could have her not having to be saved at all and just onyesha her be zaidi of a badass, even though she already is one. The two-headed dragon is pretty funny and so is the chicken. The villain is very generic and boring. The atmosphere is amazing and enchanting! Does it have it's problems? Yes, but no zaidi than an other animated films. It's just getting criticized zaidi because it has a Disney style. So does The Land Before Time and no one says anything about that. Double standards! Anyway, I upendo this movie and it will always be one of my inayopendelewa Non-Disney animated movies.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
As far as I'm concerned, badass is as baddass does. Simply saying and imba about how she wants to be a heroic knight doesn't automatically make her one, especially since she's constantly in distress and has to be saved au assisted kwa her upendo interest and male side characters. (I can think of only ONE instance in the movie where she does something without male help, and that was trapping Ruber's thugs with the trees, lugging Garret away, and healing him with a leaf. Even with that last one, it's implied she didn't even know the leaf was magical.)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Quest for Camelot is one of my absolute favorites, despite it's obvious problems. They don't really bother me. The soundtrack is pure gold. I think Kayley is very realistic, even if she isn't the most "bad@ss". She has big, somewhat foolish dreams in the beginning, but she matures over the course of the movie and learns that becoming a knight isn't so easy. She and Garrett bring out the best in each other. uh, I have zaidi to rant on, but I'll stop here and say that I enjoy this movie entirely from beginning to end.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I never really understood as a kid why Garret didn't get his eyesight back in the end when the sword was put back into the stone.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
So...living in a country far, far way from the USA, I'm absolutely delighted that I eventually had the chance to see a Broadway play! And it was Beauty and the Beast in its very first international tour! I'm so happy, I can now have an opinion on a Broadway Disney play! The onyesha was spectacular, really stunning and I was impressed kwa the professionalism and the huge effort of the actors. The scenes and the costumes were simply gorgeous. Belle's and Gaston's voices were great.

The Broadways song versions were as good as the original, though I can't say the same about the added songs and scenes, which were not that interesting. Something that I didn't like, if any, was the acting. It was plainly average I'm afraid and I didn't like that fact that the Beast was zaidi a comic relief than the tragic hero. My favourite was definitely Lumiere, he was so enjoyable to watch! My favourite scenes were the Gaston song, Be Our Guest and especially Beast's transformation. As a whole, it was one of the best best best shows I 've seen, but the uigizaji and the extra scenes disappointed me a little.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
(Keeps typing...) I forgot to add the Mob Song in my favourite scenes and another thing that annoyed me. I always heard an irritating laugh in Belle's voice, always, like "Oh no, Beast, don't leave me, I upendo you...hehe...". I don't know, perhaps that's just her voice, but it kinda bugged me!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Oh, that is an amazing show. I really hope to see it live one day. I remember clearly how I was introduced to it: it was a professional recording of the 2002 Brazilian Broadway production, available on Youtube. I think the onyesha has beautiful songs, great humor and gives the characters zaidi depth. What I like the most about it, though, are the expanded roles of Babette and Madame de La G. Bouche, since I always loved these characters as a kid.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Oh, I just checked and I think wewe saw the new "Broadway" version, with thes brighter, cheaper costumes and scenery (and they also cut one of my inayopendelewa Disney songs, "No Matter Ahat" ):zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
The costumes and the scenery were exactly like in this video, but the actors were different. link I can't remember whether this song was in the onyesha au not, I'm afraid. :(zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
It was my birthday yesterday (once again on Pocahontas's month- yay!) and my sister and I went to watch Big Hero 6. It was ok I guess, nothing special, though it was really funny at some points. I just think it's a bit of a shame for Disney to "waste" their uhuishaji talents in superhero movies, when there are so many live-action ones around. Anyway, I still have to watch the english version, which I will definitely like better. But I loved that I got to watch a new Disney movie on my birthday!

I haven't seen it yet, but I don't think Disney is "wasting" anything. I like that they're looking for ways to diversify and break the formula if their usual fare.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Happy Birthday! It's really great that in wewe were watching Big Hero 6 on your birthday ^^ And I'm quite agree about the Superhero sinema thing though I haven't watch it yet. :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Thanks guys! :) @Silverrose1991: I don't mean they literaly waste their oppurtunities, I just think (or prefer maybe) they should make films that are unlike the live action ones... I can't really express it. (to be honest, I personaly just want them to return to hand-drawn animated musicals! :P )zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Happy belated birthday. I agree with Silverrose. I don't really think it's a "waste," I thought it was a good attempt at mixing their now predictable formula.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Anyone else getting tired of the Disney Princesses? <<---- Read the Disney mashabiki responses here: link and tell me what The Fanpoppers's view on this is... There are some valid points from those who are getting tired of the DP's and the ones that aren't...

"I'm also a bit irked kwa the way that any film that stars one of the Disney Princesses is now effectively labelled a "Princess film" as if that is now some sort of genre. I think it really does the films a disservice, and perhaps even degrades the perception of those sinema in the eyes of general audiences. Many people think Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty are films for little girls, and I think that is a travesty. I mean, they are films for little girls, of course, but are also films for little boys, grown adults, and everyone else." <<--- I fully agree with this!zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Note that I didn't once mention how I think girls deserve zaidi representation in the media. I didn't want to needlessly complicate the discussion, especially since it was irrelevant to my point. Saying that boys need positive role models in Disney does not mean that I don't see other issues, such as what you're bringing up. Please forgive me for making a statement about problems with the Disney Princess franchise... which is what this ukuta post was originally about.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
But either way, my point is this: girls AND boys both deserve to have positive role models in the DP movies. The two are not mutually exclusive.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I finished Avatar: The Last Airbender last night. I loved the series, but I did not like how the relationships ended lol. I wanna songesha on to a new series. Is it worth watching the Legend of Korra?
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
For TLOK, I didn't really like the first season that much, loved the sekunde and third seasons, and I'm liking the fourth season so far. It's no where near as good as the original though, in my opinion.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
ATLA is my inayopendelewa onyesha ever and because I constantly compare it to the original, TLOK is just not up to par for me. Though the third season is definitely worth the monotony of the first two.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
ATLA is one of the best series ever :33 Legend of Korra is okay but nothing special, thought the newest season is kind of interesting zaidi Avatar like.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
Oh, here's the ATLA club's opinion on the latest season: (I think I made a kura ya maoni about the series ujumla, jumla but I can't find it.) linkzaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
It won't live up to the first, but some scenes and story-lines are rarely unique and interesting. I don't know if it's just me, but Korra herself gets on my nerves. The first two seasons are fairly uninteresting the 3rd and 4th seasons are the REALLY good ones that somewhat live up to the first series.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

Am I the only one who as a child, hoped that Shang Yu didn't kill the solider in the red out of the two that he captured to deliver the message? I hoped the the zaidi cowardly blue soldier died. Now, nyota Trek has programmed me to think the person in red dies first. I don't know what to believe, but I think the red one died because he was behind the blue one and he back-talked Shang Yu. I don't know if it matters, but I really liked that soldier.
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I kind of did too, but now that I'm older I see it differently. I wouldn't really call the blue man "more cowardly," I'd say he was zaidi prudent. Mouthing off to the (presumably) most powerful known warlord who's been burning and pillaging through your entire country in front of his whole army is just asking to get offed. I now find it suicidally idiotic, not admirably brave. Plus, I would feel terrible if the guy who was smart enough keep quiet got killed because his friend decided to mouth off. But, I guess we'll never know for sure who got killed and for what character flaw according to the Huns, which makes the scene that much zaidi chilling imo.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
If you're entering one in a ikoni contest, the maker will usually ask the size to be either 200x200 au 100x100, but the only requirement for something being an ikoni is that it's square. :)zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
What Elana said. But remember to crop your ikoni square. Some people don't, and when they resize to 1:1 size (i.e 200x200) it looks squashed and ugly. Most editors, like Pixlr, picmonkey and Gimp have options where wewe can constrain the proportions of the cropping tool to "square".zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

(Sorry for two wallposts today,) but I noticed something that bugs me a lot. wewe know children's Disney books, and usually how they're short, right? Well, some of them don't even end properly. I saw a cinderella one today, and it ended after she made the pink dress with the animals. That's how how cinderella ends urgh....sorry, it just...ticked me off a lot ;-;

The Little Golden vitabu always ended the calssic Disney sinema in the right way. Maybe wewe bought a modern copy, au your's was somehow made incorrectly? I don't even think that's the right term, it just doesn't sound right. Did it really end like that, au were some pages just missing?zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
After doing research for my white princess wedding dress poll, I realized that the common perception that all DP sinema end in a wedding isn't entirely accurate. Sure, most of them end with the princess getting together with her hubby and implying they'll marry soon (like Snow, Aurora, Mulan) au have already wed (like Belle), but it rarely ends on the white dress-wearing, wedding bells-ringing marriage. Just wanted to point that out.

I just got done watching I Am Legend. SO not what I was expecting! I mean, it's a good movie, but the ending is just... wewe know what? I'm not gonna go there. If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. If wewe haven't, you'll have to watch it for yourself.

There's an alternate ending that's a lot closer to the book. wewe should watch it, I like it a lot better and wish they had gone with it: linkzaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I thought the movie was great, except for the corny ending. I wish they had the alternate ending, but changed a few things. I still wanted the main character to die from an explosion, so it would've been an emotional scene, and for the woman and her son to escape, with the cure. Only, to cure the rest of the world little kwa little, and not kwa finding some utopia. That's so unrealistic.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
See, the whole point of the story is that there really shouldn't be a cure. The whole zombification of humanity was really just another step of evolution, and the main character was just a man who was too caught int he past. The zombies where still intelligent, they created a new culture, and had a new method of communication. This was now their world, and some bila mpangilio man that would come in the middle of the morning and kill them, was the story they told their children at night. He was they're legend, ergo the book name "I Am Legend." Sorry for the rant, I upendo the message of the original book and the movie completely missed the whole point.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I had a bad day... I hate sleepovers, au hanging out with my Marafiki outside of school, (yeah, super introverted here), and I just got back from a sleepover. I was kind of forced, because my mom was asking why my friend hadn't invited me to her house yet after she moved back. So, anyways, I didn't feel sick over there, (thank god), and I was pretty okay. But I still felt weird and out of place. And this morning, they took me to breakfast and it was super awkward. (Continuing down below)
ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I felt like their whole family was judging me, and I noticed how far apart I am from one of my best friends. I don't even really like the word "friend." Bleh, I hate myself. I feel like the only Princess who'd be like this is Belle, and I don't really like her. Maybe that's why they say "the people wewe dislike probably have the same flaws wewe do," au something like that.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I would upendo to be invited to a sleepover au any other social event, but I never am since 6th grade. Okay, I was invited to a birthday once, but I couldn't go, and some people invited me to the movies, but they cancelled it.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I don't really like sleepovers either. I invited my closed Marafiki to one in high school, immediately realized my mistake, then they kept inviting me for the rest of our high school career. I upendo my friends, but in a distant, detached sort of way. Sleep overs are noisy, chaotic, emotionally intimate, go on forever (people rarely "sleep" at sleepovers and I konk out before midnight), then the morning is super awkward because if wewe are a gust wewe never know when it's appropriate to leave, and if you're the host wewe have to provide a breakfast everyone likes, get people to leave without feeling like a jerk for kicking them out, and more. I'm not a fan.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I know exactly how that feels. I don't really have friends, but I had some when I was younger. I liked sleepovers with my cousins and people I was comfortable with, but now I'd just feel awkward and withdrawn.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I have never been to a sleepover... I actually have a fair amount of friends, but...I don't know, it's just that no one does it. I think I'd like it, but I guess I might have been kinda awkward too, especially last year, when I was way zaidi antisocial, shy and not at all comfortable around anyone who wasn't my best friend.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
I totally know what wewe mean. I hate those kinds of awkward feelings. I hope wewe begin to feel better. Don't worry, everyone will have one of these experiences, wewe don't have to hate yourself because of these natural kinds of feelings. I know many girls that are just like you. There will always be that friend group that wewe have where wewe feel like wewe can't really hang out with outside of school without feeling awkward.zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
