i don't know how to spell donut (or is it doughnut?)

Doughnut is how it is spelled this way in places like the Commonwealth countries, while donut is spelt like this in only the United States. Like the word colour is spelt this way in Commonwealth countries, and color is spelt this way only in the United States.

I spell it doughnut most of the time because I'm a spelling/grammar Nazi...

yeah... but I like DONUT better it's shorter and easy to remember, I'm not a spelling person

tvman, not really. I looked it up in the third grade and it's spelled doughnut in the US too. This is just a lazy country.

I spell it doughnut... we dom't have a dunkin donut in ireland anymore so that's not an issue here ... but oh how i wish it were.........mmmmmmmmmmm doughnuts > drool!xxxx

Yeah, if you live in Ireland or the U.K. you spell it Doughnut.

I've known that you spell doughnut this way..it's the correct way..the onlly reason dunkin donuts did it the other is to be different from other places

i knew it was spelled doughtnut but I didn't know all that stuff about dunkin donuts

Sort of see i knew it was spelled doughnuts not donuts but I didn't know it was dunkin donuts that started this umm cunfusion.

I've just never known how it was spelled.

sometimes i just spell it like that cuz i cant be asked
