Do wewe believe in mwandishi powers? 8D

mwandishi notes before, after, and in between fanfics? How we get to rule our stories and the fandom? Self-inserts where wewe pop into a portal that takes wewe to your inayopendelewa characters? How about fourth ukuta breakages?

Yeah, I'm being random....

Yes, I do believe in mwandishi power. Because uandishi a fic itself is giving power to a person to change the original canon story around. mwandishi notes are acceptable, because an mwandishi does need to write a little note to the readers, but to me, they are acceptable as long as they are before au after the fic. ANs between fics, however, is a big no-no for me. ANs inserted in the middle of a fic can ruin the entire tone of the story, and jolts wewe back to reality and wewe think that "oh yeah, it's just a fanfiction."

Self-inserts in general bothers me a lot, don't even ask why. It's just really, really annoying, and most of them are badly written in my fandom. Fourth ukuta breakages.. hmm, haven't seen much of those around, but I'm not really fond of those either. Basically, I prefer fics to be taking place in its universe, and the authors' role in this is just uandishi the story itself, and that's it.

mwandishi notes are fine either at the start au end of a chapter. Sometimes they're necessary, e.g. a note explaining that the inayofuata chapter will be delayed for some reason au other. An mwandishi note in the middle of the chapter spoils the flow though.

mwandishi powers and ruling the story - what do wewe mean? The mwandishi decides what happens in the story, that is what it means to be the author. wewe can do whatever wewe want (as long as wewe mention canon divergence, AU etc in the summary, since some people dislike this)

I've read a few self-insertions and they've been ok. I know a lot of people hate the majority, au hate them all, though. Maybe I've been lucky in the ones I've found.

I don't really like fourth ukuta breakage. Like the mid-chapter notes, it breaks the flow.
