None would photoshop your name au could chase wewe with it au doing whatever. wewe just don't have to onyesha anyone wewe really don't know your pics, au if they asked wewe for a meeting.'cause maybe that person (questioner) is a killer au thief au rapist (if he was a guy), And many stuff. If she didn't type her full name (last name), so there is no problem with it. For example, if her name was sarah, there are like million gurls with the same name. How can she be hacked?
@RobinFan360: Millions is kinda a big number. And I didn't say last name only,I alisema full name as well, which has (first name, middle name, last name), and rarely to find a person has the same full name of another's.

I don't think there is anything dangerous about putting your name on your profaili page. Unless wewe put your first, last, and middle name, accompanied kwa exactly where wewe live ._. But if all wewe have is your first and last name and (for example) if wewe live in a state like Missouri, no one is going to be able to track wewe down from that. There are millions of people in the world, wewe know?

That's because no one believes that there is really any danger. Most of the people here are children, including myself, and I don't believe that anyone would want to get ahold of our information, because we're basically unimportant to them. Unless you're talking about pedophiles, which in that case, wouldn't even use this place. They'd probably tafuta for their prey on Facebook where they can see what they're getting at XD
I think its fine to write your first name, people can't get that much information using only that, but I would be extremely hesitant in including my last name on my profaili though. However, if wewe link to your Facebook page in the external websites portion, people are going to know who wewe are if you've been using your full name (which a lot do so that family and Marafiki can find them) there.
And FYI, hackers can only "hack" someone if you've aliyopewa out all your details (full name, location, zip code, address, ect) they CANNOT track someone kwa name alone. This is because for any one full name, there can be multiple people non-related who share it-possibly on the other side of the globe, so unless your named 'Starfire hotpants horseshoe McHammock' there is a pretty good chance your not the only one with that name. The horror stories wewe do hear about people getting "hacked" are usually victims of a fake contest/survey/subscription scam, where they needed to give their full information out to reclaim a prize that they think they've won.
Just put your first name, in my opinion. I've found zaidi pervs and loons on Facebook than on Fanpop. If you're worried about putting it here, definently don't make a Facebook. That has way zaidi info about wewe on there and there are tons zaidi people. That means zaidi perverts, pedofiles, loons, crazies, jailbirds, rapists, criminals, theives, and horny bastards on Facebook.
Why would you? If wewe want your Marafiki to know it's really you, just tell them. I don't think adding wewe complete name has any additional value here on Fanpop. Just your first name is enough.
Also, if your applying for a job nowadays, you'll always be 'googled'. I'm not sure if wewe want your future employers to think wewe spend all your hours on Fanpop.
I just looked. I think you're fine. I have zaidi than wewe do, I don't feel like I've aliyopewa too much away. Thought I've thought of taking my state down. I don't put my real last name, I change them according to the fictional character I currently like, lol.
I don't like sharing even my FIRST name anywhere online cos people from school might be on here and see my account and what i like and do. its nothing bad but i dont like people from school to know a lot of stuff about me. and then my parents might see me too and figure who my crush is and soo on and its embarrassing.
It depends on what other information wewe give. Nobody can find wewe with your first name alone. If wewe say what city wewe live in, what school wewe went to, your birthday, and onyesha your picture too, someone can find wewe if wewe want to.
For identity theft issues, it can be. You'll never know who visits your page and is copying your info down right now. Your first name only can be fine though.
