I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Diana Rigg in Girona, Plus Some Big Spoilers about Tommen
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
The photos just keep coming in from Girona, and this time there’s one of Diana Rigg, who plays Lady Olenna Tyrell, the famously tart-tongued Queen of Thorns, on
Juego de Tronos seems to be making the rounds in Girona, getting photos of every actor available. Here’s the pic of Diana…
Y de nuevo @rock_daff en Girona, esta vez con Diana Rigg, nuestra maravillosa Olenna Tyrell. Te falta Loras ;))) pic.twitter.com/2K2SgyQ8rK
…and here’s one of Eugene Simon, aka Lancel Lannister, no doubt in town to save some souls.

Now let’s move on to Tommen, who may be in for some big changes in Season 6. Beware of potential SPOILERS beyond this point.
Here we see Tommen yelling at a sparrow, because wouldn’t you? Photo by Marc Marti.
Earlier today, our dearest Ani told you about a scene unfolding being filmed in which Jaime and the Tyrell army ride to the Great Sept of Baelor. At first, we assumed that Jaime was mounting a rescue attempt for Margaery, King’s Tommen’s bride, but there appears to be more to it than that.
Tommen isn’t coming with Jaime—he’s actually inside the Sept when Jaime arrives, and leaves with Margaery. This suggests the possibility that Jaime isn’t heading to the Sept to rescue Margaery, or because he loves his nephew/son, but because Tommen has been taken prisoner by the High Sparrow.
Now, we have a report from Spanish site
which elaborates on the scene. The site claims that, once the doors of the Sept open, Tommen’s royal guard comes out, and instead of having the sigil of House Lannister (or Baratheon) on their shields, they have the seven-pointed star of the Faith.
What does this mean? Has Tommen undergone a religious awakening? Could we have a mini-Baelor the Blessed on our hands? At this point in the story, anything’s possible. Book readers have no idea what Tommen will do, as we have nothing from the books to base our theories on. However, I will leave you with one of my favorite theories: that Cersei will be killed by her own son—Tommen—thus fulfilling the Prophecy of the Valonqar.
According to that prophecy, which we learn about in
, the Valonqar (Valyrian for younger brother) would be the one to kill Cersei.
And when your tears have drowned you,the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.
Season 5 opened up with the very first flashback in the show’s history, when Maggy the Frog delivered part of this prophecy to a young Cersei. She left out the bit about the Valonqur, but there’s still time. Could we be seeing the makings of a pious Tommen who will be a puppet of the High Sparrow? A puppet who then sentences his own mother to death for her crimes against the Faith of the Seven? Ah, it’s fun being a
has a whole treasure trove of photos of the production filming the scene on the steps of the Sept of Baelor. Here are a few selections.
Jonathan Pryce is on hand as the High Sparrow. First he takes down Cersei by humiliating her, and now he might convert Margaery and Tommen? This guy is having a good run.
“Orders are nobody can see the High Sparrow! Not nobody, not nohow!”
for the full set of pics, including several more of Tommen and the rest of the cast.

Tommen killing Cersei? Cool, but you forgot the part that tells that Tommen will die, implying that he will die before Cersei, cause if he dies and she’s already dead, what’s the point of that?
Tommen will kill Cersei once he becomes a wight. It is known.
“Gold shall be their crowns and gold shall be their shrouds.”
That does not necessarily mean Tommen will die before her, or die before sentencing her to death.
Oh man season 6 is going to be epic! Tywin sure left a power vacuum when he died.
Can you imagine how he would have dealt with the faith. He would march right in and wreck shit
Or my boy jon snow gets resserected joins Danny and they wreck the 7 kingdoms on dragons
Well that’s the most likely outcome I would say. But who is the third rider? Hmmm?
Definitely Tyrion. They hint it throughout the books especially where they basically say that The mad King took liberties at the bedding at Tywins wedding to Joanna
Tyrion? Bran? Arya? I would like to see a darkhorse candidate like Gendry.
I have been asking the same thing. Who is going to be the third head of the dragon? I believe it has to be a secret Targaryen. Because they have cut FAegon storyline, I think it could be Tyrion… but maybe there is no one else and, as you say, Bran or Arya will have to take Rhaegar´s place.
I also want to know that … Maybe there is not another secret Targaryen and the third person has to use the dragon horn of Euron … I suppose Bran could warg into one of the dragons too.
Theon? If he takes the victarion arc. That would be quiet the full circle for his character. Maybe Asha/ yara. Who knows? If I had to pick one I would say Tyrion. He did have the Dragon dreams. It will be interesting to see how the dragons react to him.
And btw, maybe they omitted the valonqar part for a reason, probably because Cersei will die in some other way or maybe because that was too much of a clue. For the night is dark and full of terrors.
I suspect we will see the valonqar bit later. That flashback scene seemed like it was cut off before it really ended.
I’m still on board with Jaime killing Cersei in a murder suicide. That seems the most fitting, especially with its aura of a classic Greek tragedy.
When they were more “in love” with each other I could see that. Things have been cooling off between them from book to book and season to season so that I don’t think this is an option anymore. Or not a good one anymore.
That would defiently be the most epic and what I’m hoping for. They came into the world together, and will go out together – for better or worse. But not in this season, hopefully, would be a shame to lose two great characters to the show.
Hopefully the HS/FM will go out soon, I’m already getting really pissed at them, haha.
Interesting Tommen theory. Everybody I know always focused on Jaime as “the younger brother”. But Tommen is also a younger brother to Joffrey, so that could be “the twist”.
It was all a plan, eliminate Stannis so that Jon could save us all. But I must be with him, only then we will have the power to make life and light. So just listen to the Night’s Watch voice of wisdom and don’t worry about Jon, he always comes back. And I’m sorry about Shireen, I saw myself as a slave in the final moments of her life, but it was necessary so that I could resurrect the true and only Azor Ahai!
Ser Davos might have some revenge planned for the sacrifice of Shireen. If I was the red woman I would watch my back.
What?! Serious spoilers now?! I say serious bullshit. Just listen to the Red Lady, she’s the only one of us who can actually see the future! The prophecy proves it all wrong!
Stannis Baratheon would disagree with the red lady lol. But yes I think Stannis served a purpose to get her to the wall and Jon Snow. Just sucked for the mannis
Death rides on the wall and Davos has a part to play, so say Mel
I think that is Rickon the Valonqar who will kill Cersei, after her children are dead. That would be great to avenge his family!!!
If Tommen kills his own mother, it would likely be to avenge Margery, which means she’d die first.
The prophecy doesn’t explicitly say Cersei will outlive all her children, though it heavily implies it.
Agreed – the implication (no Tyrion joke intended) is definitely that her children will die tragically and early. Otherwise, it’s not really that scary:
Maggy (in an ominous tone): “Your beloved Tommen will PERISH….oh, wait (squints as she looks more closely into the future)…hmmm…in his bed….ummmm…at the age of 80…with a belly full of wine and…(clears throat)…ahem….a maiden’s mouth wrapped ’round the bald man…”
Cersei: “That’s IT? That’s, errr…not really so bad, is it? Can I have my coin back? I was expecting something a bit, well, darker…”
Maggy: “No refunds….read the sign outside…by opening the tent flap, you automatically agree to MaggyFrog Inc.’s Terms of Service agreement, which implicitly states that you acknowledge that (a) prophecy is NOT an exact science, (b) dissatisfaction with the potential future as revealed by your professional vision provider is not grounds for a refund and, (c) MaggyFrog Inc. accepts no responsibility or liability for homicide, regicide, fratricide, patricide, civil war, kingmaking or other random acts of mischief undertaken on the part of the client in an attempt to change, reverse or otherwise alter the future as implied by MaggyFrog Inc.”….but I’ll tell you what I’m going to do – as a token of how much we appreciate your business, I’m authorized to offer you an additional reading for a special members-only price of just three silvers. Wanna hear about your future husband?”
And to wrap that up….really, really like the Tommen-as-Valonqar theory. It would be both unexpected while at the same time representing the ultimate downfall of Cersei in the worst way possible. I feel almost guilty about liking this theory so much…

Awww shucks…I’m blushing Lannister crimson! Well, thanks for the compliment, and right back atcha; I really enjoy this site – great content, with some really good theory-crafting, insightful comments & spirited debate in an atmosphere that’s usually very civil and tolerant (even towards people such as myself whose passion for the books and series occasionally manifests itself in strange and silly ways). In any case, keep up the great work – much appreciated! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to run – more ASOIAF whimsy that I have to commit to paper before sleeping. Three words for you: White (Trash) Walkers…how can that NOT be epic??? Cheers!
I like Tommen. I think it would be great if he was the Valonqar but I don´t think it´s possible. In the books, he is even younger than in the show. Besides, the prophecy also talked about the death of her children … I can see Tommen killing himself if he knows he is the son of Cersei and Jaime. He could feel like an abomination or something like that …
Why is everyone discussing my death! You’re all traitors to the Crown. I will destroy all of you! You think that knowledge is power. Power is power! And you’re saying that my son, my last boy will sentence me to die! And to avenge that bitch from Highgarden! I will not tolerate all these insults to the Crown. Ser Meryn! Oh wait…
What is with all the cos play blogging going on here????? Just put on costumes and run around your office, neighborhood, or something.
Tommen wasn’t taken prisoner, he converted to the faith just like Margaery. I saw some page with a summary of the scene, it emphasized how Tommen and Kingsguard (with Seven Pointed Star sigils instead of the royal ones) emerged from the sept.
I wonder if Kevan and Pycelle are dead by now … there is no sign of them. I suppose poor Loras must be still a prisoner. Littlefinger must be dealing with the Boltons situation.
It would be very difficult for Danny or Euron to take King´s Landing from the High Sparrow IMO. Danny will have to take King´s Landing after the fight against the Others to get the support of the people. The people hated the Lannisters but Margaery is a different story. She could be the queen of the prophecy after all. If Cersei attempts to kill the Sparrow, I can see Margaery ordering to kill her.
I believe neither Littlefinger nor Varys will be happy to hear this news.
Yeah what could THREE FULLY SIZED Dragons do against a couple Thousand Sparrows?
What I mean is that the people of King´s Landing will support the High Sparrow … I don´t think Danny- Tyrion-Varys would send the dragons to kill the citizens … The dragons were killed once so they are not invincible. This is not only happening in King´s Landing … people from every part of Westeros are joining the Sparrows.
and when the White Walkers come they’ll be joining them.
Pycelle tends to only stick to the Red Keep. He’s rarely out and about.
Perhaps Tommen will starve himself to death like Baelor. Has there been foreshadowing all along? The mention by Tywin of Baelor starving himself to death when lecturing Tommen, Tommen not eating his food in season 5? The books also refer to him as plump, so maybe….. As for killing Cersei, it can’t be him as all of her children must die first before she is choked.
My bet is Tommen dies by poison, just like his brother and sister. He was almost poisoned by his mother once already.
I’m new to this site and WotW. Anyone notice the comments over there are like the same 30 ppl commenting 10x on the same post? It feels like the Beverly Hills of comment sections over there, everyone got their noses way up in the air over there. I’ve been to a lot of Comment boards online and WotW comment boards are boojy (has to b spelled wrong) af! Much better over here!
I think WiC has much better content than WotW (like the analysis and theories, etc). The only reason WotW is so popular is because Sue (the admin) has some sort of magic device that lets her know A LOT of inside information about the show. She must be friends with a producer or something like that, because I cant imagine how she gets so much secret information XD
On the comment boards over there she reminds me of the old Catholic nun teacher ready to Crack u in the knuckles with the stick with the way she moderates
Valonqar = Tyrion. And why not? He strangled Shae, so we know he’s capable…
Just have to say that I called it a month ago in a reddit thread. I also think Tommen will be the Valonqar. By ordering her death in his new role as puppet ruler of the High Sparrow’s theocracy.
What if the High Sparrow is a Faceless Man and Tommen is already dead and we don’t notice it until the end of the season …
What did you call a month ago? That fan rumors would speculate about something that probably won’t happen in the show?
You don’t buy the Tommen being converted to the fundamentalist faith of the Seven theory? How do you see it playing out?
Just have to say that I called it a month ago in a reddit thread. I also think Tommen will be the Valonqar. By ordering her death in his new role as puppet ruler of the High Sparrow’s theocracy.
Prophecy in literature tends to be very ironic and only understandable in retrospect. I doubt that the valonqar will be a person. It is more likely to an inanimate object. Maybe there is a piece of ships rigging or horse harness that is nicknamed a younger brother. Or Evan better maybe there will be a fashion for long scarves that for some reason will be called a valonquar and Cersei will go out like Isadora Duncan.
Its tough to think who the Valonqar could be. It won’t be Tommen just because it doesn’t make enough sense. It could be Jaime because he is technically younger than Cersei and you can see him killing her to save her from herself. It could be the hound because we all have a feeling clegane bowl is coming but I don’t see why the hound would personally kill her. It could be bran because let’s face it who has more reason to kill her? But he’ll be too busy in the north.
And of course it could be Tyrion but this seems too obvious as Cersei has been convinced it’ll be him since she heard the prophecy.
The fact Tommen still has his royal regalia —while Margaery doesn’t— probably means he hasn’t been converted. The HS would have to keep him prisoner for a long time, and give him the full Margaery/Cersei treatment (dress him in rags, throw him in a cell) in order to humble and brainwash him.
I don’t understand why HS would imprison Tommy? On what charges? I mean, Tommy is still kinda innocent toddler, his only “sin” (so far) was consuming the marriage.
I don’t think he imprisoned him. I think he converted him. I think that’s what he was doing holed up in his room. I think it fits with what we know of Tommens character. Easily led, always wanting to do the right thing, rule wisely and devoutly, and desperate to do whatever it takes to save Margery.
I think a cool twist would be if sweet, gentle Tommen is actually playing the Game of Thrones like a master, and is only pretending to convert to get Margarey released. But I suspect it’s genuine, and ends up being the final wedge between Tommen and Cersei.
In the books I wanna see his head break on the castle walls.
